Chapter 1

With the Pack warrior advancement exam just weeks away, prime spots at the Alliance training center were harder to snag than concert tickets.

For three days straight, I'd jolted awake at my 5 AM alarm, fingers frantically tapping my phone screen to secure a spot.

On the fourth morning, I stared at those dreaded words and buried my face in my pillow with a muffled scream of frustration.

"Elara, you good?" Luna's sleepy face appeared from the lower bunk.

"No." Muffled voice. "If I can't get a good spot, I'm screwed for this exam."

Training spots near the energy core were three times more effective than the regular areas.

How was a weak-ass Omega like me supposed to pass without that advantage?

"Join the club. I haven't snagged one all week either." Luna sighed. "Wait, check this out."

She passed me her phone.

A post on the werewolf forum, title: [Can't Get a Spot? Here's a Killer Trick]

I leaned closer to read—

"Find a high-ranking Alpha, slip them a fake challenge letter. The Alpha will think 'an Omega dares challenge ME? Ridiculous!' and leave out of sheer pride. Spot's all yours! Pro tip: target the most status-conscious Alphas—they're the most predictable!"

My eyes widened.

Genius!

Even in these days of inter-Pack peace, nothing triggers an Alpha more than having their authority questioned.

One fake challenge letter beats a thousand words!
