"Where am I?" I stifle my laugh while hiding behind a sofa as Aaron and Cyrus start to look for me, I crawl like a baby while making weird noises to distract them, and finally, they are able to find me.
They shout from the excitement as they catch me and we all laugh together.
HaHa HaHa
"Mommy, now you find us," Cyrus demands and I nod my head but then he brings out a small cloth for me to cover my eyes, reluctantly I cover my eyes as I begin to catch them both while they run around me, teasing me from time to time.
DING … DONG …
The bell rings but our game didn't stop, "Cyrus, Aaron. Your father must be at the door." I inform the kids and then hear the door click, and Aaron exclaims happily, "Ann."
My heart skips a beat after hearing the name, I quickly pull away the blindfold and the face of the evil woman appears in front of me making me frown in displeasure.
"You're not welcome here." I take a step forward pulling Aaron away from her embrace.
She chuckles and then very calmly walks inside and takes a place on the sofa.
"Who would have thought that I would return here, huh?" She looks at me, her smile is evil and terrifying me, the woman I had thought most graceful and admirable turns out to be the devil.
I quickly hold Aaron and Cyrus in my arms protecting them from this evil woman.
"Your brother isn't here, please leave," I tell her in a firm voice.
"I know, Tessa, I am the one who has sent him away so I could have some alone time with you." She reveals with a haunting smile and my grip tightens on Aaron and Cyrus.
"You know if you harm us, Andrew won't spare you," I warn her.
"Yes, I know it very well. He seems to be crazy for his family, but guess what, who will tell him that It was me?" She raises her brow, pure evilness on her face, and then she claps her hand.
"Take them away." She orders with a straight face and soon a group of people enters pulling us all out of the house.
"Don't… Don't touch my kids." I try my best to fight but it's of no use, I am no match against those men.
They throw us in a van and soon we all are trapped in the dark.
"Mommy." Cyrus and Aaron cry out and instead of getting panic, I immediately hold them both closer to my heart.
"Ssshhh, it's alright… It's nothing…"
"Where are they taking us, Mommy? I am scared." Cyrus speaks in a trembling voice as I start comforting him, "I am here with you, no need to get scared. Mommy will protect you."
"Where's Daddy?" Aaron looks up at me after some time, he seems more patient and calm in this situation.
"I don't know, but he will come to save us, don't worry." I give them hope, I am sure Andrew will definitely come once he will know what his sister, Anna, has done but I hope he won't be late.

An hour or more time has passed, and we are still in the van and it keeps moving continuously, which means I am not in Arvada anymore, they must have been taking us somehow, somewhere where Andrew couldn't find us.
My heart tightens in worry, what if Andrew won't be able to find us, what if he fails? And what are his sister's intentions actually? Does she mean to scare us and let us out of Andrew's life or is it about something else, something huge?
My scalp prickles from fear, Oh, God, please save my kids from any harm.
The van starts to move aggressively giving me a hint that we are now riding on a bumpy road, and soon the van stops which means we have arrived at our destination.
I tighten my hold around my kids, "Listen, Aaron and Cyrus." I whisper and they both look up in unison, their faces pale and full of fear, "From now on, no matter what happens, you both will not leave each other, ok? Stay close, stay together." I tell them and Cyrus' eyes start to water.
"Mommy." He chokes and I immediately comfort him, "Big brother doesn't cry, ok? You both have to protect each other." I put Aaron's hand into Cyrus's and then pat the back of their hand to brace them both.
I know they are terrified, they must be after all they are just kids. I hope Anna shows some mercy and lets my kids go.
THUD
The doors of the van open wide and there the men appear, pulling us out recklessly and then dragging us to a weird place. I am not able to see properly as it's too dark and soon we all are thrown into an empty and dirty room.
BOOM
WU … WU … WU
Cyrus starts to cry badly and my heart starts to clench terribly. I could sense his fear. I hold him in my arms and then pull Aaron closer to me too as I begin to sing a lullaby to them, making them both asleep in my lap.
With my warmth around them, they sleep peacefully, and unknowingly I also fall into a dreamless slumber.
CLINK … CLINK … CLINK …
A sharp voice of heels cracking the floor sounds in the air and when I open my sleepy eyes, the faint light in the room indicates it's daytime now.
Before I am able to scan the room properly, the door opens wide with a loud noise disturbing Aaron's and Cyrus's sleep.
THUD
"Wake up…"
Ann stands straight, with arrogance and hatred on her face, she claps her hands with more force than usual and abruptly kids wake up from their deep sleep.
"Mommy…" Cyrus yawns and I immediately tighten my grip around the kids afraid that Anna will harm them or intend to take them away from me.
"Ann." Aaron still greets his aunt with a slight sign of happiness on his face, he intends to go to her when I tighten my grip on his arm and shake my head indicating him to not go near to her.
"Come, I have brought breakfast for my kids," Anna calls out in a sweet tone and Aaron stares at her face and then looks at me for permission, while Cyrus stays hidden in my embrace.
I stay firm on my decision and again shake my head indicating Aaron to not make any move, thankfully, he obeys me and stays at his place.
Anna's face starts to turn ugly when Aaron doesn't acknowledge her anymore.
CRASH !!
Boiling with rage, she throws a plate of breakfast at the floor and it shatters into multiple pieces making the kids shrink in fright.
"Eat this." Anna scowls with another plate in her hand and when Aaron doesn't move from its place the second place shatters on the ground too.
CRASH !!
Seeing the kids' unmoved Anna shouts furiously, "Take them away from her."
My hair stands in panic as I push both kids behind me and shield them with my body, "Don't… Don't touch them. I will kill you." I threaten Anna even when I know I am not in the condition to fight her at all.
She laughs hysterically and soon she is in front of me stretching her arm to pull Aaron from behind me when I hold her wrist and twist it aggressively and she squeals from pain.
"Beat her, idiot…" She growls at the people behind her and before I am able to know anything heavy blows land on my body and I curl trying to tolerate the pain while shielding my kids.
"Mommy…" Cyrus cries from fear while I comfort him in a low and painful voice, "Don't leave your brother, Daddy would be coming soon."
BOOM
SPLASH
The cold water splatters on my face and I wake up with a jolt, my body hurts painfully, and I frown in pain.
"Aaron… Cyrus…" I look around but I am unable to find them.
Anna stands in front of me with a tall muscled man beside her, his hands filled with multiple tattoos and his face shows an ugly scar which makes me retch from disgust.
"Where are my kids?" With small strength left in me, I blurt out just to receive a heavy slap from Anna.

"I had told you many times, those are my kids. Mine and Andrew's kids." She says with a clenched jaw. And then squeezing my cheeks in a harsh grip, she hisses in a low voice, "You took away my Andrew from me, I won't let you live, Tessa."
Her face shows danger but her eyes, they speak differently, there is hatred in her eyes for me but more than that it contains jealousy, jealousy from such a normal woman like me.
"I don't understand." I shake my head trying to get away from her grip, "this isn't any love, this is an obsession. You're obsessed with Andrew's obedience." I exclaim, my cheek tingling from the warm sensation of being slapped.
"Hah… Nonsense." Anna declines with a loud sneer and then turns towards the man standing a few steps away from us.
"What are you looking at? Hurry, get her naked and rape her, and don't forget to click her pictures." She orders and my face turns all pale. The man smirks and takes a step forward while I start to writhe in the chair.
"Don't… Don't come near me… Andrew won't forgive you, don't do this… Don't." I yell, my eyes at Anna as she watches me with cold eyes. There is no way for me to escape, I am going to be humiliated by this woman.
Alas, she wins, after all, she wins.
A deep sigh of defeat escapes my mouth and I stop struggling, the man stretches his arm and touches the waistband of my pants when a sudden noise interrupts him.
BOOM
Before I am able to know what's going on, something heavy hits my head and I fall heavily to the ground, blinking my eyes I see the blur picture of Anna and the man together, and soon her heels come on my face.
