Chapter 205 UNNECESSARY ARGUMENTS

ANDREW POV:

The thing that I had been afraid of happened when Aaron throws up again when I bring him back to his room. I could feel his stomach squeezing out his life while I helplessly watch him bearing all the pain by himself.

My little boy.

I am furiously mad at Tessa, see her lack of knowledge has hurt Aaron. Thankfully, Ann isn't at home otherwise war would have started now.

I look around for Miss Martha and she is nowhere to be seen. Perfect Timing for her to get disappear.

It was difficult for me to look for his stomach medicine with him in my arms whining in pain. I expected Tessa to follow me and look after her son, and show any concern but Nah... She is nowhere to be seen.

Yeah, right, why would she be concerned about Aaron? She has just met him after all.

I feel agitated.

I sit on the rocking chair that always helps to calm down Aaron, and soothes his pain. It's better for him to sleep for a few hours now only in this way his suffering would lessen.

The door opens and Tessa enters, great, so now you are showing yourself, huh?

Behind her, Seline enters as Aaron's rescue and I immediately ask her for Aaron's medicine.

Selina knows everything regarding Aaron's health and things and as I had expected she quickly brings the medicine and feeds him.

Thanks, Lord.

My gaze fixes on Tessa, the unresponsive mother, and my mood starts to sulk. I expected her to be better than this.

"Mommy," Aaron groans and she immediately walks over to him, crouching down beside my knee as I look down at her intently.

She doesn't look furious now, but guilty and remorseful.

I think she has finally realized her mistake.

Good.

After putting Aaron back in his bed, I turn to look at her. "Miss Martha and Selina have all his diet plans. You can ask them before cooking something for him." I tell her in a plain voice and then ask curiously, "Where is Cyrus?" Didn't she mention that she won't leave Cyrus alone, here?

"He is with Miss Celine." She replies and I frown deeply.

Great, he can stay with Miss Celine but not with me, the father.

I try to suppress the urge to clap my hands in pure sarcasm for her but as I glance at sleepy Aaron. I dismiss the thought.

"Can you stay with Cyrus for a while? While I stay with Aaron?" She asks in a pleasantly soft tone.

Oh, F**K.

If you ask me that sweetly how am I supposed to stay mad at you Tessa?

Already, it's difficult for me to picture her away from me but her rude and indifferent behavior is helping me to stay distant from her but when she turns her tone into sweet and requesting it makes me unable to resist the urge to hold her tightly in my arms and kiss her passionately until she gets out of breath.

F**k, no.

Hold your emotions, Andrew. I snap at myself.

"Okay," I reply in a deep voice, the arousal in my voice is evident and I flushed from the embarrassment.

Thankfully, she didn't notice anything doubtful, and then absent-mindedly she sits beside Aaron on his bed. I walk out of Aaron's room silently giving both mother and son some privacy and alone time as it's now my time to go and visit my elder son, Cyrus.

I bump into Miss Martha on my way and she apologizes quickly, "Oh, I am deeply sorry, Sir. I had gone outside to bring my medicine." She explains and I nod my head in response, "Has Selina informed you about Aaron's health?" I ask.

"Oh, Yes. I am going to prepare things according to his diet. Don't worry, sir." She assures me.

"It would be better if you keep his mother beside you while preparing food for him, okay," I instruct her and she nods her head obediently and then walks past me to enter Aaron's room when I stop her.

"Uhmm... Miss Martha, Aaron's mother wants to spend some alone time with him. It would be better if you don't disturb them." I tell her and she obliged.

With a happy and cheerful mood I enter my old room to see Cyrus and what I see inside makes my brow furrowed in distress.

"What is going on here?" I growl and Cyrus immediately straightens his little body.

"Ahh ... Ah...." He keeps opening his mouth in fear at me and glaring at him I walk towards Miss Celine and then help her to stand.

"It's okay, Sir. The little boy is playful." Miss Celine says panting and I want to spank Cyrus for being so insensitive.

How could he ask such an old woman like Miss Celine to ride him on her back? I don't think Tessa's upbringing will teach him any insensitivity towards the old people.

"Cyrus, apologize." I command and he looks at me with tearful eyes, his bottom lip shivers but somehow he manages to open his little mouth, and then in a hoarse voice he let out one word, "Sorry."

"Oh, it's completely fine. Cyrus." Miss Celine leans down to hug him and he turns away from her in anger.

I glare at him, Aaron never dares to disobey me like this at all.

"He is still young and new here, Sir." Miss Celine says to lighten my anger but my one glare made her retreat quickly.

BOOM

After she is gone and only I and Cyrus are left behind. I sit on the sofa and pat the seat beside me, "Come here."

I say softly to him yet with seriousness in my tone.

"No." He wraps his arms over his chest and stubbornly shakes his head.

Perfect reflection of his stubborn mother.

Sigh...

"Come here, Cyrus," I call him again with a bit of force and this time finally he moves his small legs and comes to sit beside me on the sofa.

I take a deep breath as I keep my arm on the side of the sofa and look at his small angry face. "Cyrus, she is very old and you must be not asking her for the ride like this. What if she gets hurt?" I start to explain to him while keeping my voice low and gentle.

"But, Auntie Marie always used to give me a ride." He mumbles in a low voice complaining.

"Auntie Marie?" I ask blankly.

"Auntie Marie, she has a flower shop. She always gives me a ride. she looks like her." He points at the door indicating Miss Celine as he didn't know her name yet.

I remember Tessa used to work in a shop in Chicago that must be the one Cyrus is mentioning about.

"It was all in the back, Cyrus. Here, things are changed, ok." I tell him and he again makes a pout in dissatisfaction.

"I want to go back, where is mommy?"

Arghh... Stubborn child.

"Mommy is with brother, you know your brother is sick," I tell him and he nods his head, "And as a big brother you should be taking care of him instead of leaving him," I tell him and he blinks his eyes at me and now from the closer view, I realized that his tantrums are all like Tessa but his eyes are same as mine and his features pretty much similar to Aaron.

I don't think they are identical twins.

I was lost in thinking when a voice makes me look at the door.

"Aaron hasn't slept?" Selina asks and I couldn't help but smirk at her stupidity.

"It's not Aaron but Cyrus, my elder son." I sit straight and introduce Cyrus to Selina. She looks at him in doubt and then exclaims in disbelief, "Twins? You had twins, Sir?"

I was supposed to nod my head with the smirk still placed on my face when a voice interrupts us both abruptly.

"We... We had twins." I tilt my head while Selina turns to the voice and we watch Tessa standing at the door with a poker face. She walks closer to Selina and stretching her hand she introduces herself in a cold chilling tone yet strong and firm, "I am Aaron's mother."

And my wife? I raise my brow pondering if I should mention this or not? Tessa's stone face tells me that it wouldn't be appropriate to mention this now. Laters, maybe.

"Oh, a pleasure to meet you, Mrs." Before Selina addresses her she immediately corrects her, "Miss Will."

"Oh, Miss Will." Selina gives me a confusing look and I give her a tight smile.

My wife is kind of stubborn, you'll see in a few days, Selina.

"Well, I just come over to ask Sir Andrew if he would be wanting to join me for the shopping." She explains to Tessa although she hasn't asked anything yet. Why do I feel that Tessa is intimidating her?

The shopping reminds me of Cyrus's clothes and his necessities as I look at Tessa and ask, "Would you like to join us?" I ask her very politely but she refuses me so rudely that I nearly feel like suffocating her with my own hands now or spank her so hard that she won't be able to sit properly for weeks.

"Fine, Cyrus will go with me," I tell her with determination and her pupils start to widen in shock.

Before she could refuse, I look at Selina and wisely dismiss her, "Selina, could you please ask Ron to bring the car?"

She nods her head and walks out of the room hurriedly.

Good Girl, she must have sensed the storm that is soon going to come.

"Cyrus will not leave without me," Tessa says stubbornly pulling Cyrus towards her.

"Don't forget, I am his father," I argue while pulling Cyrus back to me.

What is getting into her every hour? She just asked me herself to go to Cyrus and now here she is stubbornly fighting with me over such an unnecessary issue.

I don't understand her attitude at all...
