"He looks just like us," she murmured to herself. Ji-run rolled his eyes nervously. He knows that he's in in trouble for tolerating Miracle's curiosity.
Yes, they took the unconscious human back to their tree house. How? Miracle is strong enough to carry two men.
"Why is his nose taller than us? It makes it look so handsome." The curious girl curled around the man. His clothes are extremely dirty thus giving an idea to Miracle. "I think we should change his clothes. I don't know if swimming in the mud is normal for humans, but we have to take care of him."
"He's a human." There's a hint of frustration in Ji-run's voice.
He knows very well that his strict mother will not like what they're doing. A human entering their world is a big NO. "Don't touch him! What do you think you're doing!" he exclaimed to the little girl. Miracle lifted her head to look at Ji-run who's very worried to wake the man up.
"He could be dead," she replied. Ji-run's eyes grew big. That makes it more complicated now. He's not going to let Miracle touch this unknown man. They might get blamed for his death.
"I'll have to use my gift if you insisted on touching him again. We're no friends with him. Why would you touch him?" Ji-run raised his voice to the apathetic girl. The latter looked at him.
"Everyone I see is my friend," she replied. Miracle rolled her eyes. She can't believe that Ji-run is this close minded.
Ji-run crossed his arms. "But humans are completely different!" he blurted out just to get glared by Miracle who's busy checking the man.
"Shut up and help me get him up. I think I have the perfect clothes for him. Would you give me that?" She pointed the box near Ji-run. The latter heaved a deep sigh. As must as he wants to stay out of trouble. He doesn't want anything bad to happening to Miracle.
The little boy yielded a sigh. What can a chosen like him who manipulates nothing, but light can do? It's not like Miracle will listen to him anyway.
He gave the box to Miracle. She magically changed the man's clothing, but the stranger groans because of the tight clothes. This is the first they hear his voice. It's deep just like his father's. It means the man is still alive and not dead.
The sound he created made the little girl curious. She doesn't know why she feels very curious about this man. There's something inside telling her that she should save and take care of him. Like he's a part of him or something.
Miracle doesn't know. She is confused.
It took them hours. Ji-run's nervousness started to fade while listening to Miracle's stories. She knows exactly how to entertain her thin friend. The man is still unconscious.
"We have to go back. Mother will wake up soon, Miracle. I don't want my mother to anger me."
"Oh, you're such a crybaby. Auntie will understand our situation. We're children and playing is just one of the things that will complete our childhood. Don't worry about it too much."
Ji-run sighed deeply. He doesn't know if he should believe Miracle anymore. She always get him in trouble. But for some reason. He always stay with Miracle. Maybe it's because his father's a close friend of her mother? He doesn't know. There are so many children in the castle, but he always finds himself playing with the curious Miracle.
"He's moving!" The little girl's voice echoed in the small tree house. Ji-run immediately put his hands on the moon and to the man. This is how he can control the light and thus blinds anyone who sees the light.
"N—No! Don't hurt him," Miracle said and block herself to the man. The latter slowly gets up from the bed and looked at the two kids.
He's confused. The last thing he remembers is they were being attacked by the enemies and he swam to save himself. He left everyone including his only army friend.
"H—Hello?" The small voice of a girl made him looked at Miracle. The girl is too pretty for her age.
"Who are you?" he asked in a scary voice. The man looked at his hands. They're clean. He has bandages and the most weirdest is he's wearing a different clothing. A little girl's clothes to be specific. "What the fuck?!" he hissed not minding if there are kids in front of him.
Miracle is still mesmerized by the young man's face.
"M—Miracle!" Ji-run stuttered. He can't believe what he's seeing. His childhood friend that is as small as cherry is slowly turning into a lady. How is this possible? "What's happening to you?!"
"H—Huh?"
"You're a lady now!"
"A—A lady?"
Miracle stared at her adult hands. She's indeed a lady now. What is happening? The man stared at Miracle. She's the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. What a gorgeous girl.
"Where am I?" he asked. The big guy scanned the small tree house. How were these two managed to carry someone like him? He's 180 lbs the last time he checked. "What did you do to me?"
Miracle looked directly in his eyes. Completely ignoring the sudden drastic changes on her body.
"I—I don't know. What did you do to me?"
Ji-run's eyes widened. This can't be. His auntie Golden told him that Miracle will change into a lady when she sees her parsen. He looked at the mortal human.
