With an exasperated sigh, Hunter sat back in his chair, his face showing how disturbed he was by these thoughts. Not long after, the door to his room opened and Liam came in, carrying a stack of documents in his hand.
"Sir, this is the work contract with Mr. Deslo," Liam said as he placed the document on the table. Hunter just nodded blankly, clearly distracted by something much more serious than business.
Liam noticed his master's expression, then asked curiously, 'What's wrong? What's bothering you?"
Quickly, Liam pulled out a chair in front of Hunter and sat down, looking at him intently.
'Those maids," Hunter said with an angry hiss, 'how do I get rid of them?"
Liam took a deep breath, realizing what Hunter meant. This situation was more complicated than he could have imagined. Hunter wants to get rid of Ramona and the baby, and that puts Liam in a dilemma. This problem is not only about actions, but also about morals and boundaries that will be stepped over if he follows Hunter's wishes.
"You know, sir, it's not as easy as you think," Liam answered carefully. 'This could cause a lot of problems."
Hunter looked at Liam with eyes full of anger and frustration, as if demanding a more concrete answer. 'I don't care how complicated it is, do whatever it takes to get rid of it. I can't let that woman ruin my life."
A tense atmosphere filled the room, making the tension between them even thicker.
Liam rubbed his eyebrows thoughtfully, silently contemplating looking for the right solution. After a moment of thinking, he finally came up with a suggestion that came to mind. "Instead of killing the baby, couldn't you just marry her contractually with some conditions? Of course, everything could be arranged secretly as a form of silence for her," Liam said carefully.
However, Hunter's response was far from expected. He immediately glared angrily, his face flushed with unbearable anger. "You want to destroy me?!" he shouted at Liam, his tone sharp and full of anger. It was as if the idea was an incredible insult to him.
Liam took a deep breath, trying to calm the situation before speaking again. "It would be even more devastating if you killed the baby," he said in a calmer tone, emphasizing the meaning of his suggestion just now. "You could face more severe consequences, and it would be much riskier. A marriage contract could be a temporary solution to defuse the situation and keep your reputation safe."
Hunter continued to look at him with a cold and defiant gaze, as if there was no acceptable solution at this time. However, despite his anger, Hunter knew that what Liam said was true.
Hunter was silent, contemplating the crazy proposal made by Liam. His eyes narrowed, and his jaw clenched, indicating the confusion that surrounded him. However, after several seconds passed, he shook his head firmly. "No, that village woman doesn't seem to be trustworthy," he said coldly.
Hearing Hunter's refusal, Liam actually leaned forward, approaching a little further as if he wanted to be more convincing about what he had just proposed. "Didn't you get the cards? Her mother is in your hands. You can do anything to make her obey you and carry out all the orders you want," Liam said, voicing his idea in a calm but firm voice. His words tried to use every possibility to lead Hunter to accept the plan.
Hunter was incited, sensing the logic behind Liam's words, but he quickly returned to his stubborn reluctance. Hunter clicked his tongue in annoyance, his gaze sharp at Liam. "No, I don't want to marry her," he said in a hateful tone. "I have my own way to get rid of that cheap maid." This rejection came with complete certainty, choosing to continue following his instincts and the plan he had thought of himself, no matter how dark or dangerous the method was.
Liam exhaled angrily, shooting the stubborn Hunter a sharp look. "You will really get into big trouble if you act rashly," he said in a serious tone. "It seems like she's not an easy woman to get rid of. She could fight back at any time and speak out about what happened." Liam's words were delivered full of warning, as if to emphasize the serious consequences that would be faced if Hunter didn't think carefully.
Hunter fell silent, his cold gaze turning sharper as he considered the possibility. He felt his anger flare, but there was also uncertainty emerging. The idea that Ramona might fight back or reveal something made him feel like he was cornered. For the first time, he realized that this matter was much more complicated than he thought.
With a blank stare, Hunter began to think of a more appropriate and effective way to get rid of Ramona, thinking of various possibilities he could do to ensure that all this would not destroy him. However, one thing was certain—he had to move carefully and with calculation.
Liam thought of a crazy idea and whispered, "Or you could put abortion drugs in her drink or food. That's the most efficient way without causing big risks. If she sues you, she won't have proof, while she's still two weeks pregnant."
Hunter was silent, looking at Liam with a flat expression as if he was considering something else. Then suddenly, a sinister smile spread across his face, and he grinned. "No," he said in a confident tone, "I have my own way of getting rid of it." Hunter's eyes flashed with a cunning glint, as if he had already hatched a more sinister and detailed plan.
Liam frowned, wondering what Hunter meant. However, seeing the cruel expression starting to appear on his boss's face, he could feel that whatever the plan was, it definitely involved something much more cunning and dangerous than simply mixing drugs into food or drink.
