Chapter 30: True Love Wedding

In the early morning, Lyra was awakened by a gentle knock on the door. She opened her eyes and found that Rayne was no longer by her side.

"Come in," she sat up and rubbed her eyes.

Mira pushed open the door with a mysterious smile on her face, followed by several maids carrying an exquisite silver-white gown.

"What is this?" Lyra asked in surprise.

"Lord Rayne's surprise," Mira said with a smile. "Today is your true love wedding. No longer a contract, but a choice from the heart."

Lyra felt her eyes moisten. Her first wedding with Rayne was a cold contract, filled with suspicion and wariness. But today, they would unite once again in the name of true love.

The maids helped her wash and dress, while Mira personally helped her into the silver-white gown. This was no ordinary wedding dress, but one woven from Silver Fern silk threads, glistening with subtle silver light in the sunshine, like a garment crystallized from moonlight.

"It's so beautiful," Lyra said softly, looking at herself in the mirror.

"Rayne designed it himself," Mira said as she placed the Silver Fern crown on her head. "He started preparing it from the day you returned reborn."

Lyra looked at her in surprise: "What? But he didn't know I was reborn then."

Mira smiled mysteriously: "Some things can be sensed without words. The connection between soulmates transcends time and space."

When Lyra walked out of the room, the hallways of the ancient castle were lined with clan members who bowed to her in respect, their eyes filled with reverence and blessings. At the end of the corridor, Rayne waited for her in a silver-gray ceremonial attire, his handsome face radiating with happiness.

Lyra walked slowly toward him, her heart filled with love. At this moment, she was no longer the reborn woman consumed by revenge, but simply a woman deeply in love with her husband.

"You're so beautiful," Rayne said softly, reaching out to take her hand.

"Is this your surprise?" Lyra asked with a smile.

Rayne nodded: "I wanted to give you a real wedding, a beginning filled with love."

Together they walked toward the garden behind the castle. There, under an arch made of Silver Fern and laurel branches, the Elder waited to perform the ceremony. All clan members gathered in a circle to witness this sacred moment.

"Under the witness of the laurel," the elder said solemnly, "Rayne Grayson and Lyra Sterling, your souls have received the laurel's recognition and blessing. Today, you shall unite once again in the name of true love, no longer bound by contract, but by a choice made from the heart."

Rayne gazed at Lyra lovingly: "In our past life, I failed to protect you. In this life, I vow to guard you with my life, love you, respect you, until eternity."

Lyra responded with tears in her eyes: "In our past life, I misunderstood you. In this life, I vow to forever trust you, support you, love you, until eternity."

As they exchanged vows and rings, a silver light descended from above, enveloping the couple. Everyone watched in amazement as the laurel's blessing manifested once again, offering its benediction to the truly loving couple.

Rayne leaned down to kiss Lyra's lips, a kiss unlike the ceremonial touch on the forehead from their first wedding, but one filled with deep affection and promise.

However, in this moment of happiness, Lyra suddenly felt dizzy as a blurry image flashed before her eyes—a face both strange yet familiar, seemingly warning of something...
