Chapter 26: Devilishly handsome

I wasn't happy to find Luis waiting in between the two villas, taping away at his phone when we joined him. His eyes flew up at our presence and, as always, he checked me out.

"Are you flying home with us?", Luis asked with a smirk.

Chuckling, I shook my head. "I still have some work to do here yet. I'll be flying back in a day or so." Actually, I didn't know where I was flying off to next. I hoped it was home, knowing Lynn was my new neighbor, but I also knew that kristoff wanted to shoot as many scenes as he could before the awards ceremony in month. If he had his way, my dick would be in any woman beside Lynn. And that made me feel a bit queasy.

The honking cab pulled our attention away from one another as I walked them to the clearly impatient driver. Luis opened the popped trunk and threw his luggage in before giving me a quick wink and small wave and then jumped into the backseat.

Lynn shyly looked around, tucking her hair behind her ear as I placed her suitcase in the trunk. It was actually really hard not to grab her and kiss her so hard she would be grinning the entire flight back to Florida, but I didn't do it. The coward me was strong right now.

"Well, have a safe flight, Lynn." Leaning in, I lightly kissed her cheek and stepped back from her, shoving my hands into my front pockets and walking away with my tail between my legs.

LYNN'S POV

"Did you tell him to call you when he got home?", Luis asked, wiggling his eyebrows at me.

Nudging him away from me, I let out a small chuckle and shook my head. "Luis, of course, I didn't. That's what a woman does when she actually wants a man to."

His mouth fell so open so far I thought it was going to hit the floor. "You go back there right now and tell him to call you!"

"Luis," I scolded, "We were just having fun and that's what this weekend was. He doesn't owe me anything and neither do I. Besides," I paused to shrug and really think about my next words, "it's obviously the guy isn't interested in anything more than fun. And my non fun having ass was starting too...." I stopped speaking immediately. There's no way I'm going to tell Luis that I was starting to have emotional ties to the guy. I mean, who wouldn't have?! He's like the perfect package , but for me, he was an explosive one that needed to be forgotten.

Luis snickered, nudging me back. "Girrrrl," He drugged out, "You've got it bad." He began to fan his face and whistle. "But don't worry, I totally get why." I kept my eyes forward, waiting for him to stop talking. "Just so you know, I totally caught him watching you I'm pretty sure you weren't the only one growing feelings." He giggled before reaching into my carry on to grab my expensive camera out. "Do yourself a favor and look through the last few pictures. You can thank me later."

Luis pulled his sleep mask over his eyes and got as comfortable as he could in these stupidly uncomfortable airplane seats. And once he stopped moving, I stared down at my camera in my hands, terrified to turn it on and see what luis captured. I didn't want to see how Drake was looking at me. And I definitely didn't want to see his gorgeously handsome face again soon.

But I turned it on and looked anyway.

Every picture was of him looking at, apparently me, in admiration and longing. He was even smiling in a few of them, which wasn't something he did often. And that last one! Good, God! He definitely had his `fuck me' eyes going on and it was enough to make me smile squirm in my uncomfortable seat.

Shit. Shit. Shit. This is exactly why I didn't want to look at these! He's so incredibly good looking and I can't stop flipping between them. Damn you, Luis! And right when my finger hovered over the delete button I had an instant change of heart and saved them to memory card instead.

Shoving my camera back into my bag, I glared over at Luis who was either quick at falling asleep or faking it and really debating on whether I should smack him or not.

I have a million things going on right now and having unfamiliar emotions for a guy I just met is not something I want to add to the list. What makes it even worse is knowing that the guy is my fucking neighbor. Now there's no way I'm getting away from him.

What have you gotten yourself into, Lynn?

"We're twenty minutes out from Miami international airport. The skies are clear and the current temperature is 87 degrees. We will be landing at approximately 8:45 pm. "Thank you for flying Delta."

The pilot's voice pulled me out of a small cat nap as I sat up straight and tried to stretch my legs as best as I could. Looking over at Luis, I couldn't help but mess with him again. This time, though, I pulled his sleep mask from his face and released it with a slap.

He woke up in such a startle that he nearly karate chopped me in the face before he ripped the mask off and glared around.

My hand was covering my mouth trying to hide my grin as my stifled laughter shook my shoulders.

"You're an asshole," Luis hissed out.

"We're home, buddy. Time to wake up," I giggled out.

"You do realize that pay back is a total bitch right? And I'm the queen of paybacks."

Snorting, I cock an eyebrow at him. "Is that so?"

"Oh you just wait." He was huffing and puffing and I was still holding back my fit of laughter that so desperately wanted to break free.
