John was panting heavily, catching his breath after his frantic search.
After Susan called the police, he rolled up his sleeves and advanced toward me.
On the way to the administrative building, they searched another girls' dorm.

But it was the graduate students dorm—no Emily there.
Seeing John's defeated expression, Susan nearly crushed her phone in her hand.
She noticed my indifferent expression and threw her phone at my head.
My forehead swelled instantly.
More students gathered, watching the spectacle.
Witnessing Susan's panic and John's exhaustion, they glared at me with pure disgust.

"Her parents are desperate—must be an only child? Watching their family fall apart like this is evil! She'll burn in hell!"
"What's with her expression? After one hit, she looks ready to kill! If you did something wrong, admit it—stop pretending!"
Then, campus administrators and police officer arrived through the crowd.
My parents were with them.

Seeing them, I froze.
No wonder the school officials had been delayed—they'd fetched my parents from our hometown.
They'd heard I'd taken Emily, rushing over in panic.
I remembered them discovering my body in my previous life, crying hysterically.
Tears welled in my eyes, and I moved to embrace them.
But my father slapped me hard across the face.
My cheek burned, and I stared at him in shock.
He trembled, his voice filled with disappointment.
"I thought you came here to study! What have you done?"
"How could you do this? How will your mom and I face people?"
My father shook, barely standing.
I reached to steady him, but my mother slapped my hand away.
"Don't touch your father! Don't make this worse! If you won't say where Emily is, we disown you!"
I wanted to wait for Emily to be caught red-handed.
But facing my parents' despair, I couldn't hold back any longer.
Just as I began to speak, Susan interrupted, demanding the school officials,
"How dare you accept someone like this? Hand over my daughter or expel Lily, or you're accomplices! I'll expose you online—let's see who still sends their children here then!"
Suddenly, someone grabbed my wrist.
