As the passion escalated, I lost control and began to reciprocate.
I instinctively started to lift my shirt. But surprisingly, he held me down.
'What's happening? Surely, he wouldn't stop now, would he? That would be incredibly awkward!' I thought.
Confused, I watched him walk over to the window and draw the curtains shut. Then, he strode back to me, and before I could react, he stripped away my clothes.
Then, we consummated our impulsiveness.
Afterward, he brought me to the bed, and we continued, each round more intense than the last.
In those moments, I discovered a thrilling side of life I hadn't known before.
However, once everything had quieted down, I lay on the bed in a daze, slowly processing the magnitude of what had just occurred. Embarrassed, I buried myself under the blanket, overwhelmed by the intimate encounter.
"Yvette?" His voice came from beside me.
For some reason, I felt embarrassed. Perhaps it was because it reminded me of what had happened just now, which was humiliating.
After a moment of hesitation, I poked my head out from under the blanket and said, "Actually, if you're just acting on impulse…"
Before I could finish my sentence, Jared silenced them with a kiss. It began gently but quickly deepened, leaving me gasping for air.
"You are being too nice to me," he murmured against my lips. "Last time, you brushed off our kiss like it was nothing. Now, we've gone much further. Can you really act as if none of this happened?"
He pinched my cheek playfully, his grin both mischievous and tender. "I can't, especially now that my imagination has turned into reality. I told you before, I'll take responsibility."
"But…"
His lips found mine again before I could voice my concerns, pulling me back under the blankets.
I was still worried that I wouldn't be able to support him. However, it was already too late to think about that now. I decided to deal with the consequences later.
Just as I was about to embrace Jared's insatiable desires, the doorbell rang once more.
Exhausted and barely able to move, I hesitated, but Jared spoke up, "I forgot to mention, Rachel went out to buy some late-night snacks."
