Nathan shielded me and fired without hesitation,the bullet went right through her skull.
Claire fell,eyes wide,her shock mirroring Tiger's.
Both died at the hands of the one they trusted most.
I trembled lightly.Nathan covered my eyes,holding me."Sarah,Claire's gone.It's just us now."
"Nothing will separate us now.We'll be together forever,okay?"
I curled my lips when he wasn’t looking.

On my birthday,the wedding went ahead.
Morning,Nathan said,"I was kind,gave the trapped beast candy on the day of our happiest,but he was unruly somehow,fighting to get out."
He touched my face."Beat him,and he's still defiant.Some people's bones are just that hard."
I felt a sharp pain in my heart.
I clenched my fists,forcing a smile."Really?Forget him.Don't let him ruin our big day."
The wedding was in the hilltop church.
The site was packed with armed men in black,heavily guarded.
My heart sank—so many,even police would take heavy losses.
I shook Nathan's arm,pouting."Nathan,why so many people?They look like they're at a funeral,not a wedding.I don't like it."
Nathan waved,sending half outside.
I gave him a kiss."Nathan's the best."
The priest had us exchange vows.
He asked,"Miss Sarah,do you take him as your husband?"
No,I don't.
Nathan frowned as I hesitated,about to ask what was wrong.
Then chaos struck.
Someone shouted,"Cops!Cops are here!"
The expression on Nathan's face changed.He grabbed my hand,running for the hills.
Gunfire erupted.
Nathan had a cabin in the hills.We hid there.
He pulled out a gun.
For a moment,I thought he knew I was a mole and was about to kill me.
But he handed it to me,worried."Sarah,take my gun.Protect yourself."
I looked up,stunned."What about you?"
He smiled."I've seen this before.I'mused to this.Your safety matters most."
"Sorry,Sarah,I ruined your wedding."
He kissed my forehead."If we escape,we'll have another,okay?"
I stared at the gun,tracing it with my finger,silent.
After a moment,I looked up,giving him my first genuine smile."Okay."
I aimed at his heart and fired.
