When Michael and I appeared in the hospital,Teacher David was shocked.Before we could speak,Teacher David said he would call the police and asked us to leave immediately.
Teacher David's little grandson had just finished the operation and was sitting on the bed playing with an iPad.Seeing his grandfather chasing us away,he thought it was fun,put down the iPad in his hand,and looked at us and smiled.
I noticed the video playing on the iPad.It was a news that had been on the trending list a few days ago.In the video,a girl was going to commit suicide by jumping off a building because of a broken heart.The onlookers were all shouting for her to jump,and in the end,the girl in the video really jumped.
"We're not here to cause trouble."Michael explained,"We're here to tell you the truth of the matter."
"Bullshit truth.I don't have money to give you."Teacher David turned the chair around and turned his back to us,not looking at us anymore.
"As far as I know,if your sister hadn't died,you would also have gotten that house."I said.
"What?"Teacher David turned back,looking confused.
"Grandpa,how do you type'jump quickly'?"
Our conversation was beyond the understanding of Teacher David's little grandson.His attention turned back to the iPad.
Teacher David helped type the two words"jump quickly"and then asked us,"What do you mean?"
"On New Year's Day,your sister was going to make a will and leave the relocated house to your son Jack."
"What?"Teacher David stood up from the chair all of a sudden."Why?"
I shrugged,indicating that I didn't know.
Before coming,I originally wanted to tell Teacher David the whole truth,including the fact that Jack was not his biological son and the deceased Tom was.But after seeing Teacher David type the words"jump quickly",I changed my mind.
