When taking a bus in New York,I met a battle-axe of a granny.
I was feeling unwell and sitting on the bus. That extremely overbearing old lady, with incredible arrogance, sat right on my lap.
She also scolded me,saying," You worthless little shit! No respect for your elders! Can't you hear my senior citizen pass, you ignorant brat?

Clutching the handrail in misery, I waited for my stop.
But the battle-axe grandma kept scolding me behind me.
She cursed that I wouldn't reach old age, that I would drop dead the moment I stepped out the door, and that I would get mowed down by a car.
Her curses still ringing in my ears, I stepped off distracted—and got absolutely wrecked by a speeding sedan ...
I'm a college student who came to New York to study.
One day after school,I squeezed onto a bus. Suddenly, I felt an odd pang in my chest, so I leaned against the seat and fell asleep.

I don't know how much time had passed when I felt a heavy weight on me.
When I opened my eyes quickly,I found that a granny in her sixties was sitting on me.
She had curly red hair, dark black eyeliner tracing her eyes, a wrinkled face, and her lips were painted a vivid, blood-red color.
She was also gripping the leash of a fluffy teddy dog in her hand.

My mind went blank. Was I encountering this a battle-axe of a granny in New York?
I tried to get up,but my heart was uncomfortable. Just then, the old granny spun around menacingly.
She leaned over me,spitting as she scolded," You little rascal! Didn't you hear my senior citizen card beep?"
"You are wearing a school uniform, so you must be a college kid. Don't you know you're supposed to respect your elders and look out for the young ? You've got zero decency."
"What are you staring at? I'm gonna sit right on you."
My heart was really hurting, but I still couldn't help trying to stand up. Just as I started to put some strength into it, that granny suddenly lay on the ground and started throwing a tantrum, rolling around,"Ahhh,I'm dying.Young man!"
"Help! Someone help an old lady! Please, I’m being attacked—I’m gonna die"
I didn't dare to mess with such a crazy person. If I did, I'd just get stuck in a mess I couldn't shake off. Besides,I had a heart problem.Although it wasn't serious,at that moment,I was dizzy. So I rushed out of the bus .
The moment I got off the bus,the old hag suddenly stood up and started screeching at me," You little shit! Think you’re so smart with your college degree? No manners, no respect—just a rotten brat who abuses the elderly! Hope you get flattened by a truck tomorrow!"
" You’ll die screaming—and your whole family with you! Pray your parents drop dead by dawn, and your siblings rot in misery."
Every syllable was poison.I had never been so insulted before, but I didn't dare to get angry.
I sucked in a sharp breath, but the rage still burned in my chest. As I strode away ,suddenly, “bang!”. A car sped towards me and knocked me flying.
Along with it was the old lady's crazy yelling,"Hahaha,I said you'd be hit and killed by a car,and now you really are..."
I never said a word. Never lifted a finger. But because of her curses,I lost my mind and was hit and killed by a car.
It's such a pity that, being so young, just in my early twenties, I met such a tragic end. I knew all too well how much I resented that old granny in the very moment when my consciousness was fading away. I wished I could grab her and drag her to hell with me.Why did I die while she was still alive and well?
Why was it that she, who had so little manners herself, had the nerve to scold me for lacking decency? I was truly unwilling to accept my fate. It seemed that the heavens thought I had died unjustly, for they actually gave me a chance at reincarnation. .
However, when I was reborn,I was no longer a college student but a local old lady.
I had a monthly pension of$20,000,and I was in good physical condition.I had a large family with many grandchildren, and my husband had been dead for over a decade.
I was always cuddling my teddy dog and walking among the elderly people.
All the old folks who knew me would respectfully call me Auntie Amy.
