Viewers tagged me.“Come on, admit that you filmed this.”
“CampusScoop,you’re a legend.”
I denied it.“No proof,don’t slander.”

They replied,“Lmao,sure.”
Sarah couldn’t show her face at school, skipping everything but classes to cling to Jamal.
As a former friend,I could barely look at her.
Her delivery notifications, linked to my app from when I picked up her packages, pinged.Seeing“men’s health supplements,”I laughed, snagged the box,and posted on the campus wall:“Sarah, package number 1234,grabbed your package by mistake. It’s back in place—don’t worry, your supplements are unopened.”
A sharp-eyed student screenshot it,posting it to the forum.
Sarah deleted the original, but the screenshot went viral.

Karma can be cruel. Now everyone knew Sarah loved her exchange student, needed supplements, and wore a metaphorical green hat.
Her“love is free”slogan made her a clown.
Eventually,Jamal tired of her.The sounds of their arguments escalated into real domestic violence.
Viewers noticed the shift.“New girl?Sounds worse—actual abuse.”

At class,I waited for Sarah, sitting two rows behind to observe.
It was hot,no AC,everyone in tank tops.Sarah wore long sleeves,a mask.
“Miss, masks aren't allowed in class. Come and solve this problem,”the professor said.
Sarah hesitated, removed her mask, and walked to the board.
When she returned, even the professor spoke up.“Are you okay?Talk to me if you need help.”
Classmates whispered.
As“CampusScoop,”I’d already snapped a photo of her bruised face.
Chloe texted me,sending her own photos.“She’s back in the dorm—got beat.Deserved.”
Sarah was waking up,realizing Jamal was trash.
Too late.
She didn’t know Jamal wouldn’t let her go—a free plaything is too valuable to let go.
In my past life, she’d figured this out and used me as a shield, letting me suffer the consequences of her mistake.
Before she could try again,I sent her a huge rose bouquet, with an apology note from“Jamal.”
Spotting Sarah grab it downstairs,Chloe gasped.“Ninety-nine roses!Jealous,Emma!”
I waved it off.“Not mine—Sarah’s.We said she shouldn’t date Jamal,but guess we’re the clowns.”
Winking at Chloe,I continued.“Sarah’s lucky.Jamal’s just pretending to make amends.Don’t be mad—he hits you,but that’s love,right?Don’t overthink.”
Sarah bought it,shouldered her bag,and returned to Jamal.
As the one known as “CampusScoop” on campus, I followed her.
She entered,then screamed.
I started recording.Sarah dragged out a heavily made-up girl,beating her.
My hands shook—this was incredibly valuable content.
As Sarah beat her,Jamal intervened, shoving Sarah down, muttering something harsh.
Sarah, like in a melodramatic soap - opera, wailed,“How could you?I gave you everything, and you betray me again?Have you no shame?”
She declared,“We’re done!”
Jamal sneered, yanking her hair, dragging her inside.
