By seven, Lily called and told me to come home early.
Eager for our reunion, I left the dinner early, grabbed a bottle of red wine from the store for ambiance, and headed home, humming.
But Lily was dressed to go out, with her bag in hand.

"You're leaving?"
Sensing my disappointment, she smiled and touched my face."I'm running an errand for Claire. Wait for me."
"Oh, Claire said her back still hurts. Since you're home early, give her a therapy session. I told her you're a miracle worker."
As she left, I felt deflated but couldn't argue. If I hadn't barged into the bathroom, Claire wouldn't have slipped.
The guest room's lights were dim. I wheeled in my therapy cart and smelled a faint scent from a corner incense burner.
Claire was lying face - down on the bed. Her curves were breathtaking, stirring my pulse.

I couldn't believe her boyfriend would cheat on such a stunning woman.
"Claire, relax.I'll check your injury."
She seemed shy."Be…gentle."
I smiled." Don't worry, I'm a pro. It won't hurt."

Her sprain was minor. As I massaged the key points, her tension eased.
"Feeling better? Still sore?"
"Much better. Really comfortable."
Our tone was normal, but her" comfortable" came out shaky, had a soft, alluring tone that was different from her usual voice.
"Lily says you massage her often. You're skilled."
I chuckled. Those were flirty couple's games, therapy turning into my" happy endings."
I applied a bit more pressure. Claire's face flushed, almost dripping with warmth.
"Here—it hurts. Rub more. Gentle...no, harder."
As a therapist, I knew my job.
But her swaying, the creaking bed, and memories of the bathroom mishap made my mind wander.
Even my steady hands trembled, as if they were on fire. She noticed, and the atmosphere changed.
I tried to focus and told myself, "I'm a doctor, she's a patient."
I closed my eyes and massaged, trying not to look at her body.
"Here, it hurts. Lower."
Her voice was intoxicating. She was usually so reserved. Why was she acting like this?
My mouth went dry, my body felt all tingly, and my heart was pounding.
She writhed silently, biting her lip and her body growing hotter.
My hands seemed to be teasing her, pulling away just as she relaxed.
"Where are you rubbing? You're...naughty," she murmured weakly.
I opened my eyes and was horrified. My hands had strayed too far.
A jolt ran through me, my restraint snapping. I pressed myself onto her. She turned, startled, and our eyes locked. She didn't resist. Instead, she closed her eyes and her blushing face was irresistibly seductive.
My rationality collapsed.
