After a business trip, I found my girlfriend in the bathroom showering. I rushed in, hugged her from behind, and kissed her passionately. She tried to push me away, but my kiss cut off her protests. But something was odd. After two weeks apart, had she gotten surgery? Her body felt...different.
Lost in thought, I loosened my grip. She broke free, screaming. "Look at me!" Through the steamy mist, I realized—it was my girlfriend's sister, Claire. … My girlfriend, Lily Brooks, and her sister, Claire Brooks, were beauties of different kinds. Lily, a dance instructor, was slender, graceful and pure, with a vibrant personality.
Claire, a print model, had a curvaceous, sultry figure and a fiery allure. I shouldn't have mixed them up today, but after half a month away, I was eager to surprise Lily. I hadn't called ahead, rushing home straight from the airport. Hearing the shower and seeing a woman's silhouette through the frosted glass, I lost control and burst in—only to get it wrong. Lost in thought, Claire came out of the bathroom, and the atmosphere got really awkward.
"Claire, when did you get here? Where's Lily?" After my blunder, she looked shy and annoyed but held back. "Just arrived. Lily's out. She'll be back soon." I forced myself to speak." Earlier, I thought you were Lily. Sorry. Please don't tell her, okay?" She wore Lily's bathrobe, which was too small for her and hugged her curves tightly, showing off her stunning figure. I couldn't help but stare, and my voice trailed off. She noticed me looking, stomped her foot, huffed, and went into the guest room. My heart raced. When Lily returned, if Claire exaggerated, I'd never clear my name. As I fretted, Lily came back with bags of groceries, surprised to see me. "You're back? Why didn't you say you'd be early? I didn't cook for you. Where's Claire?" "In the guest room," I mumbled, pointing. She studied me." Why are you so wet?" I fumbled," Uh... I splashed myself washing my face." "How'd you get that wet? Dry off, lunch is ready." My heart leapt to my throat, but Lily only called Claire from the doorway. Claire came out without a word. I relaxed slightly, vowing to control my impulses and double-check who I was with next time.. Lunch was tense. Claire and I barely talked. Lily glanced at me, then at Claire." Claire, your eyes are red." "It's nothing!" Claire kept her head down, eyes were faintly red. Moments later, tears welled up and rolled down her cheeks. My heart sank, panic rising. Lily put down her chopsticks, softly saying," Claire, tell me what's wrong." Claire sobbed, shoulders trembling. "Claire, what happened? Talk to me!" Lily urged. "I was betrayed by a jerk!"
