"You're a monster! Dressing him like a peacock while your husband's outfit costs less than $30. What did he do to deserve this?"
"You're an orphan's bully, teaming with a homewrecker. Don't you feel guilt? Oh, you have no conscience. A person with a conscience wouldn't cheat while pregnant."
As the hate floods in, Emily sits beside me.

I watch, stone-faced, as she sobs, slaps herself, and downs liquor.
I don't get it—I'm the one who suffered, yet she's crying.
Oh, is she sad Nathan's getting slammed?
In contrast, my comments were much kinder and full of support.
"The husband's gorgeous, outshining the homewrecker even barefaced. How could someone so good be betrayed..."
"Three years ago, he worked at my shop, raising his daughter alone. He ate bread and water but kept well. She never fussed. They're so strong."

"Brother, did you get your house back? And the settlement? If he hasn't paid, we'll get it for you."
I reply to each, their warmth fueling me.
The attackers apologize, compensate, repair the damage, and bring Lily gifts.
They were manipulated too.

Then they march to Nathan's building, holding signs:
"Unit 801 houses a homewrecker who caused a premature birth and stole the daughter's house. Single women, come on up!"
His door's pounded nonstop—some to fight, some to take advantage.
He lives in fear.
Someone blasts speakers around the complex:
"Has Nathan paid back the money today?"
Another rents the unit opposite, live streaming 24/7 with HD gear.
Someone breaks in and beats him.
His parents are shunned by friends and family.
Mr. Brooks was so angry that he ended up in the hospital.
Nathan, in tears, begged me to stop.
It's simple.
"Pay me back. Not just the $8 million, but every cent she spent on you, including hotel rooms."
"And publicly apologize."
Three days later, I received $8.504 million and Nathan's in-person apology video.
Thinking he'd learned enough and I'd got the money, I posted to calm the storm.
Nathan got a short break.
Then Emily's apology video put him back into the spotlight.
She talked about their affair in detail.
Nathan had targeted her from the start, studying her preferences and staging fake " chance" meetings.
He knew she was married but still deliberately seduced her.
Emily, blinded, fell for his charm during her pregnancy, making terrible choices.
She regretted hurting those who loved her.
After everything, she knows who truly matters.
From now on, she'll make amends with actions, not seeking forgiveness, just to compensate me and Lily, fulfilling her duties as a wife and mother.
She asked people online to keep an eye on her.
Half of the comments cursed her, while the other half waited to see if she'd really change.
Emily becomes extremely kind to me.
She washed my hair, peeled my fruit.
But being kind to me wasn't enough. I made her a Sidecar cocktail and asked,
"Know why Nathan dared to mess with me and Lily's things?"
She paused with her at her lips."Because I was unfair and favored him."
I shake my head."Because he was never punished for hurting me,"
"True."
She finished the drink.
