Friends who like fishing, never go night fishing!
And never talk to strangers while you're fishing!
Can you be sure whether the person who strikes up a conversation with you is a human or a ghost?

As usual,I'm used to going night fishing with my friends.
During the day,I'm busy making a living, and the time at night is rarely free.I must do something I like.
After night fishing,I go home and just fall asleep immediately.
Unexpectedly, early in the morning, there was a knock on my door.
A man in a police uniform stood at the door.I woke up instantly from my drowsy state.
The man in front of me had a square face,a full beard, and a mole the size of a grain of rice on the left side of his nose. His appearance looked a bit fierce.

He took out his ID and said he wanted to ask me some questions.
I quickly invited him in and poured him a glass of plain water.
"I live alone,and the room is a bit messy.Please don't mind.Have a seat,please."
Perhaps to ease my nervousness,he casually said,"You're a tall and handsome guy.It would be nice if you found a girlfriend. Then you'd have someone to care for you and take care of you."

I smiled and said,"I have a girlfriend, but we've made an agreement not to live together before marriage."
His tone was very gentle. We chatted about some trivial matters, and I soon got used to the situation.
After all, when an ordinary person sees a police officer, they can't help but feel nervous.
It's not because of a guilty conscience, but because of the uniform and the national emblem. There's a solemnity and sacredness that's inviolable.
One can't help but feel a sense of reverence.
First,he showed me a photo.
It was a full-body photo of a young man holding a basketball.
He had a very sunny smile, and it made people unconsciously want to smile along with him.
He asked me if I had ever seen this person.
Half a month ago,I had seen this person. He seemed to be playing basketball with his friends. On his way back,he happened to meet us.
My friend and I were night fishing. That man was on the phone with his girlfriend, saying that she wanted to eat fish,so the man asked us if we were selling any fish.
My friend Ernie and I thought it was no big deal,so we simply gave the man a fish.
The phone call hadn't ended yet.The man's girlfriend must have heard us,and she insisted on paying.
In the end,we symbolically took ten dollars and gave the man one more fish.
That was our first encounter with the man.Later,we met him again.
Since we met by chance,we chatted a bit more.
For men,with a cigarette,in just a few minutes,they can quickly start chatting.
We could be considered friends. After that,Jason often came to buy fish from us.
Finally,I sighed and said,"Jason is really good at playing basketball, and he treats his girlfriend extremely well."
I thought the police officer's questioning was over, but then he told me.
Jason was dead!
He drowned.
I couldn't help but frown and let out a sigh.
"He was so young. How could he be gone?He was fine yesterday. He even said he was good at cooking fish and invited us to have a meal together someday."
It turned out that death was so close.
However, what shocked me even more was what the police officer said next.
He said that Jason's full name was Jason Young, and he had drowned a week ago.At that time,my friend and I were also there.
After saying that,he put another photo on the table.
In the photo taken by onlookers on the day of the incident,my friend and I were seen fishing not far from the crowd, with our backs to the camera.
There was someone lying on the ground in the crowd.Because of the crowd blocking the view, the face couldn't be seen.
But the feet of the person lying on the ground could be seen.
He was wearing red AJ shoes.
I remembered that those were Jason's favorite shoes.Every time I saw him,he was wearing those shoes.
Jason said that these shoes were special because they were a gift from his girlfriend.
However, when we met him last night,Jason was wearing black sports shoes.
My friend even teased him, asking if his girlfriend had bought him new shoes again, and that it was nice not to see him wearing the red shoes this time.
At that time,Jason smiled and said that the red shoes were being washed.
The picture of our laughter from yesterday seemed to flash before my eyes.
I remained silent and stared intently at the photo on the dining table.
Jason was holding a basketball and smiling at me.
Last night,he also said that he wanted me to find some time to go and eat fish together.
How could he be dead?
And he died a week ago?
A week,seven days.
The first seven days after death!
Could it be that the person we met last night was Jason's ghost?
