"Sister,it's really you!I followed you all the way here.I thought I was seeing things."
The girl was very excited,with tears welling up in her eyes.
She held my arm tightly."Do you know?For a year,I,Mom,and Dad have been looking for you.Where have you been?"
I stood there in a daze.The girl in front of me was about the same height as me and looked somewhat like me.She called me sister.Could she be my younger sister?
The diary that Richard gave me didn't mention my family.I always thought I was an orphan.
I looked at her suspiciously."Who are you?"
"I'm your sister.What's wrong with you,sister?"
As she spoke,she took out her phone from her bag and showed me a photo."Look,these are Mom and Dad,and this is us.Last summer,we were still taking photos together.Then you disappeared,and even the police couldn't find you."
I was stunned.
In the photo,there were four people in the family:Mom,Dad,the girl in front of me,and me.Mom leaned on my shoulder,and her eyes were full of tenderness and happiness.
I thought of the wedding photo of Richard and me.I always felt that it was strange.Now I finally understand that it was because there was no true emotion in our eyes.This photo was different.Even without my memory,I was still touched by the family of four.
I stammered,"I had a car accident and lost my memory.I have been lying in bed for a year."
The girl was worried and turned my body around."Except for not being able to remember the past,is there any injury to your body?"
I stared at her blankly and shook my head.
She let out a long sigh of relief."I'll tell you about the past slowly.Now I'll take you to see Mom and Dad.They are almost worried to death.Mom even got seriously ill."
I didn't know whether what the girl said was true or false,but my feet involuntarily followed her.I looked back at the women's clothing store.Richard was still sitting on the sofa reading a magazine.
Thinking about everything that had happened recently,I should take a gamble.
On the way,the girl chatted non-stop.
Her name is Lisa Johnson.She just graduated and is interning in a financial company.Originally,Mom and Dad lived in the countryside.After my sister went to university,Mom and Dad also came to New York City.If I hadn't disappeared suddenly,we would have lived a very happy life.
They rented a place in an old residential building in the city center,which was completely different from the villa I lived in.
As soon as we met,Mom and Dad hugged me tightly,and tears streamed down their faces.They held my hands and asked me a lot of questions about myself.I knew nothing,so I just told them that I had a husband when I woke up.

Especially Lisa.She jumped up from the sofa."You're married?What about Jack Wilson?"
"Who is Jack Wilson?"
"Sister,you really can't remember anything?Jack Wilson,your boyfriend.You've been together for three years.You were going to get married last year,but you suddenly disappeared."
There was not a trace of memory in my mind.
Mom looked at me."What kind of person is the man you married?Does he treat you well?Can we meet him?"
Mom's voice was gentle,and there was nothing but worry between her brows.For a moment,I really wanted to throw myself into her arms,but I didn't know how to answer this question.
"I can't remember anything.I was with him when I woke up.Now,I don't even know who I am."
I was a bit restless, and they stopped asking.
Dad prepared a table full of delicious food and all kinds of fruits.Surrounded by them,I mechanically ate the food,and soon my stomach was round.
Their hospitality made me feel an unprecedented warmth,but the small details of our interaction were a bit awkward.
For example,Lisa peeled a mango for me after the meal,and as a result,I had an allergic reaction.I was sent to the hospital.But to my surprise,Richard actually found me here.

Lisa and Richard argued more and more fiercely.Their voices attracted the nurses in the hospital,and they were driven away,and the quarrel stopped.
Finally,I don't know how Lisa compromised.Soon,she left with Mom and Dad.
Richard squeezed my wrist tightly."If you dare to run away from me again behind my back,I will show you what I'm capable of!"
How did he find me?
The allergic reaction made my respiratory tract swollen.I was weak and let Richard intimidate me at will.Soon,I fainted.But in my sleep,I suddenly heard a voice.
It seemed to be Lisa.
"Sister,I'll come to see you another day.But I want to remind you to be careful of Richard.There is a note under the pillow.Call that number if you have something to do!"
