He chuckled.
"I like the view from behind" he said smacking my ass and I shook my head laughing.
He ended up helping me wash the dishes and when we were done he got a phone call from someone who had the biggest base on the phone and I almost laughed after he started complaining that his girl wont let him sleep in the house after he promised her snacks and didn't bring them and now it was almost eleven at night and he didn't feel like going to any store because he was exhausted.
"Well my brother got kicked out.
I have to go but I'll call you later" he said kissing me then rushed out of the house to and rescue his brother.
Shaking my head I looked at my purse that I never removed from the time I reached home and goodness did I feel bad for not calling my mother like I promised.
Deciding that I would call them first thing in the morning I went to charge my phone which was now dying and decided that I should probably upgrade the phone which was probably one year and a half old.
Sighing I made sure the doors were locked along with the windows and I shuddered knowing that we weren't safe.
Oh fuck the file.
He might have seen it.
Shit and if he did then he would go back to hating me.
Rushing in my room I checked back in my cupboard then removed the rest of the unnecessary stuff ontop of it then there it was.
It looked like no one bothered it.
He didnt see it.
He didn't go snooping around.
Well isn't that just great.
Releasing a shaky breath I felt the phone in my hand vibrate and I smiled when I saw Marcus' name bright up the screen.
"Yes?" I answered the phone to the person who had not talked to me for the last four days.
"I know I'm a horrible friend by now but I'm all the way in New Zealand handling business there was no airplane available so I couldnt make it to the funeral" he said breathlessly and I almost laughed.
A wave of sadness washed over me and my eyes watered again.
"Its okay Naill.
It was depressing anyways" I said lowly.
He sighed.
"On the bright side I have tons of presents for you" he said in an excited tone.
"Oh really?" I asked my tone changing also
Who didn't like presents.
"Yes
They are alot I didnt know which one to get specifically so I got like all of them and I'll bring them over tomorrow night" he said sounding exhausted all over sudden.
"So what is it?" I asked out of curiosity trying to get a hint of what it was.
"psht who even says what kind of present they bought before handing them out.
Relax you will see them tomorrow" he said then added a bye at the end.
After a few trials of convincing him and no luck I said bye back and cut the call.
Five minutes later Josiah called and we talked almost the whole night before I fell asleep with the phone in my hands and after a peaceful night of sleep I woke up to find the phone unchanged and off.
I was running late to work due to the fact that the alarm didnt ring and I knew that I was fucked from the morning.
What a great way of starting a day.

When I reached I was late.
Really late.
When I arrived it was one hour past time I had piles and piles of paper work to do and I remembered that I forgot the file at home again.
Entering the office I slowly opened it and the first thing I noticed after the busy receptionist of my floor was that my office was so dark.
Damn heavy curtains.
Drawing them open I decided on a cup of coffee to keep me going then sat down.
I was planning to avoid Josiah as much as possible today and probably hope that I would never see him again.
That was literally my hope except from the time that I would be taking the file to his office
I buried myself in work until my office phone rang telling me to go to the boss' office.
I was puzzled.
It did not even sound like him who was calling but nonetheless I went.
I breathed in and out because of my nervous ass and decided to use the first set of stairs to think and then use the elevator on the following floor.
After praying that I never reach well I did reach and Lena was busy as well and after saying a small hi to her I knocked on the heavy and expensive looking door then entered after hearing a come in.
When I opened the door two pair of eyes bore in mine and I instantly held a breath.
They kinda looked alike except that one had blue eyes and the other green.
I had seen him before.
"You called?" I said after composing myself.
"Oh yes miss Hotch please have a sit" Josiah said mentioning me to sit and I did just that.
I sat and kept quiet which led to an awkward silence to settle in between the three of us for a good minute.
"I was looking at the work that you have been doing lately.
And I must say that you are doing a good job and I was told to give you the credits that you deserve and if you continue like this we might just give you a rise" Josiah said looking at the screen of the computer that was infront of him.
His brother looked between us as if he knew something was going on and I hoped this dumb head called Josiah didnt mention a word to him.
