I get that he was mad and all but I had a kid to cater and he should understand that.
I didnt give him another reason to shout I just let a 'yes sir' slip out of my mouth and with a court nod he headed to his office.
Jeez what crawled up his ass in the fucking morning.
Lunch time rolled pretty quick and I got a text from Nail telling me to meet him at the nearest restaurant which happened to be a block away and I couldn't be more than happy.
I was quick to get out of my office exactly at twelve and thanked the heavens that Lena was not at her desk to question me.
Checking my phone again I noticed that I was ten minutes late and well he would have to suck it up and wait for me.
I was a lazy walker unless I really wanted to exercise and to make it worse I was in a tight skirt appropriate enough and five inches heels so walking fast would snap my ankles and I didn't wanna walk in clutches.
Entering the fancy restaurant I let the door close as it was automatic and I immediately spotted Nail with his big grin as he looked at me.
I felt my own smile automatically widening.
Oh I missed him.
I walked to him making sure to take my time because first of all I didn't want to fall down and second I felt like.
He stood up and engulfed me in a hug that lasted longer than necessary but he didnt need to know and the fact that we attracted attention towards us was even more intense.
He pulled my chair to sit and I was more than glad to sit and I turned to give him a smile then he walked to sit.
I watched with wary eyes.
I watched the way he walked and the way it screamed power.
I watched the way his suit suited him mostly his thighs and I watched as he sat making direct eye contact with me.
I wasnt one to back down a stare so I smiled and kept looking at him.
It was broken down by a waitress who cleared her throat as if what we we were doing disturbed her and she gave me a dirty stare.
"What?" I asked raising a questioning brow at her.
She looked taken back and shook her head nothing.

Rolling my eyes I went back to the menu and read the options that almost had me chocking on my saliva.
I knew this restaurant was expensive but fuck why would you sell two potatoes for more than ten dollars.
Dropping the menu down I smiled at his way and told him to order.
I was fine with anything as long as we shared the bill.
Well the asshole didnt let me pay half.
He paid everything and his excuse was that he invited me over not the other way round.
I actually enjoyed his company because it eased my mind.
He took my mind off Josiah but not completely.
I was glad when he gave me a hand to stand up because I was stuffed full.
I really ate a lot and this needed to stop my fat ass was gone get unhealthy and I would start getting up early to jog when I hated it.
He helped me until the entrance and kissed me goodbye.
By kissing I mean pecked my cheek and said bye.
He looked happy and I looked stressed back to reality.
I would have to hear his voice again and this meant him saying something dirty.
I hated the fact that he only loved my body not my mind.
He didnt try to get to know me like Marcus but most of all he was demanding and acted as if he knew everything.
I hated that.
But most of all I hated the fact that I had started developing feelings for him.

I didnt want to apply heat on my hair for too long so I decided to make twists braids and well I had a terrifying headache.
Looking at the watch I noticed that we had little time left until the office closes and I was so ready to leave this place for the first time in peace.
Five reached and I walked into Mr Ivanov's office to tell him that I was done and heading home.
Knocking twice I entered and found him head bent in the computer's screen with glasses on and light directly shining on his face.
At the sound of my voice his head jerked up and when he took in the words I said he nodded his head and I turned to leave.
"Wait" he said and from a far I heard the door click shut.

"I saw you with Nail today" he said and clapped twice.
The lights came on but this time beaming low.
"How does that concern me?" I asked my Hands on my hips.
I really wanted to know why he was indirectly telling me that his eyesight still worked.

"I told you to stay away from that man Nayra but you being the stubborn woman you are you never listen" he said getting closer.
I rolled my eyes and stood my ground.
"Are you going beyond your limits Sir?
Because last time I check you are my boss not my dad" I said tapping a foot in disapproval.
I was getting impatient and my baby was waiting for me.
"That is not what you were saying last time" he said bringing me closer with his hand.
