"I have a clue where Damanico is but I've got to get home first." I looked out to busy city below "I need some TLC for a while then when I'm better I'm going head on to Cardinal. No limits!"
"That's the spirit." Henry and Diana laughed "Just don't wreck the city or I'll be sent to find you and my job could be at stake."
"Not for much longer." I smiled
"What?" Diana asked confused "Why?"
"I'm going back to NYC in a few weeks time." I told them "Back for good. No more hiding. Once the drama is sorted out I'm going back to the place I call home. I want Reign to come with me but I'm giving her the choice of freedom."
"Once you get in there's no way out." Henry shook his head "That's the world you grew up in."
"What was your childhood like Xavier?" Diana suddenly asked "I've never heard you talk about it."
I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. I turned away and focused on the streets down below. My gaze then focused on a club and a few guys outside puffing cigars.
"I'm not a bad kid." I began "I just had a tough start to my life. Without parents at my toddler stage a learned to depend on instincts for survival. I was forced to learn the ways of the mafia from the minute I could read and write. The person who was put in charge of me was named Melodinius."
"Melodinius? Queer name." Diana shrugged picking up the last brownie "I'll get you guys something more to eat."
She got up and left us and Henry motioned me to continue.
"I was always looking for a way out of all the strict rules and guidelines and that formed a rebellious side of me by the time I was seven. I was adopted by a beautiful young couple who had just gotten married when I was four and so were my brother and sister. Life was good as my adopted father, Charles Harrison, knows about the mafia and hands his business down to Chrissy and I and we use the mafia through the titles. He was also a former White Collar Agent."
"White Collar?" Henry almost choked "The street name for the FBI?"
"Yep." I grinned "He quit but Chrissy and I picked up a few things and won't mind helping if we can. In return they don't hurt us. l kept up with my training but it soon grew normal to my brain and I searched for other interests."
"Like what?" Henry folded his arms "What did you find interesting?"
"Smoking, drinking, strip clubs, gambling, pool and poker." I answered with a shrug "No big deal."
"No big deal?" Henry's eyes were popping out his head "You had no limits! You smoked and drank at nine?!"
"Yep." I nodded "Not often. Maybe once a month when the big-time gamblers at the casino left their stuff everywhere because they were too drunk to clean up. Charles and Katherine knew and have talked me out of it but I still do it secretly. It's not a habit but when I'm extremely stressed it smoke."
"Do you still do it now?"
"Nope. I got bored of that and sex is my stress pass-time." I answered "By twelve I had girls falling over me and I had a new girlfriend every week. I began to grow aggressive and was in a lot of street fights. Without any parents at that hormonal stage, I had anger problems but learned to control them at fourteen. I took over the mafia at thirteen when I learned the ins and outs fully."
"What happened when Royalty entered the picture?"
"I calmed down and for once I was able to settle three months with one girl." I raked my fingers through my hair "She was different and although it started off a little awkward, we started to sort things out. That's when I quit the White Collar so I could only have one job. I followed after the one I wanted most and the mafia is in my blood."
"You love the mafia or the fame and women?" Henry slouched a little on the chair
"I love the mafia." I admitted "Not just fame, attention, women or money. I feel free in there and I can do what I want. People think the mafia is a cruel place but it only is to people who don't follow the rules. Other than that I love the mafia. I belong there."
Henry smiled at me and then Diana came back with chips and soda.
"How are you going to manage a mafia and large hotels?" Diana asked sitting down
"The hotel will cover up mafia affairs so there's hardly anything there to argue about." I picked up a grape soda and opened it "I can handle both. Besides, I've got under bosses and Chrissy and I split up the hotels so we all get something to do when we get tired of the mafia."
"I'm leaving you boys to talk." Diana got up and rubbed her arms "It's getting chilly."
"Goodnight." I smiled at her and she smiled back before kissing Henry on the lips then leaving us.
"How many girls have you dated?" Henry asked
"Lost count." I replied
"Why?" Henry picked up the orange soda.
"After my ex-girlfriend, Jennifer, broke up with me I slept with so many girls that I lost count." I took a gulp of soda. "I must have slept with at least fifteen or so different girls. I'm not sure."
He shook his head. We talked a little longer until the sun started to wake up and soon it was seven in the morning and we were sitting on the floor with cans and packets around us as we talked. I laid low and hung around the house for the day but that night I was out and about.
"You're going?" Diana asked me as I dressed
