"Oh heavens Damanico!" she scolded like she was my mother
Sassy much! I can't believe she's my maid!
"Don't walk through the entire house in dripping wet clothes. Go change right this instant young man! Drop your clothes in the laundry when you're done."
I didn't argue and quickly vanished leaving Gina to shake her head and frown at the wet tiled floor.
I went up to my room. On my way up my phone vibrated and I pulled it out. Rocco had texted me to say he had gotten hold of Ferro and plans were being laid. I changed fast and went back down in sweat pants. Neveah looked down at her food to hide her blush.
"No need to hide the smile." I walked behind her and leaned forward to whisper into her ear "You've seen all of me already, baby."
She blushed and I kissed her cheek. I sat in the seat between the girls and Gina came back to serve me food.
"Found anything?" Neveah asked me anxiously
I hate seeing her so anxious and impatient. She's covering up her worries.
"No. Nothing." I shook his head as Gina placed down a plate and I took a mouthful. "Both mafias are searching for him. Neither has any luck at the moment."
"This is nerve wrecking and confusing." Neveah half groaned and half sobbed "He just disappears in thin in and we all knew something wasn't right but we did nothing. It's killing me to know if my other half is ok."
"Don't stress to hard Veah." Royalty comforted "We'll find him."
"I so hope so." she wiped at a stray tear.
Neveah crying?
I felt my phone again and looked pulled it out my pocket. Rocco.
Let's move! We've got Cardinal blocked on all ends and Ferro's paying the part just fine!
Royalty looked at me while I stared at my phone.
"What's wrong?" she looked at me confused at my sudden change of mood.
"I'm going out for a bit." I got up quickly and grabbed a shirt before leaving the house and slamming the front door violently.
Oh Cardinal here I come!
Rocco and some of the men were in an SUV a little way off and the driver pulled out slowly while I hopped in and shut the door.
"Step on it Terrance!' I ordered and he slammed down on the gas
Two more SUV's with my men behind followed.
"Ready to be the Boss, Nico?" Rocco grinned handing me a rifle
"It's been to long since I used the Gionovese Famiglia and my mafia ways." I grinned "Let's get to it."
The ride wasn't long and we soon pulled up to an old abandoned factory where Cardinal set up his mafia. I let some of the men go ahead while Rocco and I took our sweet time in walking to meet Cardinal. Jones and Harry were waiting for us when we got there and walked in right on cue.
"Oh good." I heard Cardinal give a nervous laugh and I smirked from my place in the shadows behind the door "Jones and Harry. Seize the traitor of a beast!"
Both men did as he told but aimed their guns at him.
You're just too dumb Uncle!
"W-What?" he asked confused "I said Ferro, not me!"
"Sorry Boss." Jones clicked the hammer "We only take orders from Damanico."
"Damanico?" he asked in horror "What madness is this?"
"The fact that your mafia has been playing you all along." I said walking out the shadows and through the door
"D-D-Da..." he stuttered, lost with his words as he took a few steps backwards
"Long time no see Uncle." I grinned
"Damanico." he finally managed to say my name "How are you? Have you come back to help your Uncle find the music box."
Trying to be casual? I don't think so!
"Nope." I popped the 'p' then turned to Ferro "Good work rounding up the men. Xavier has plans to move to New York so get the men to start shipping tonight. Alert the Joint in NYC that we're coming so they could open the club."
"Yes Boss." Ferro grinned and pulled out his cell phone
"So this is a setup?" Cardinal looked from me to Ferro then to Jones and Harry "You were controlling my men all along."
"Why do you think I had good friendships with 3/4 of your mafia?" I stated and pulled out a gun then nodded slightly to Harry and Jones "Tie him. He's got some answering to do. Let's start from the top Uncle."
"A party without me?" a voice asked and I turned to see Lucario walk in with one of Xavier's girls called Sasha
"You got out without a scratch?" I asked
Mission two accomplished!
"It pays to have links." he kissed Sasha and she giggled "I have the most amazing girlfriend ever."
"Wait until Xavier finds out you've been secretly dating one of his girls." I smirked
"Well we're going to be on the same team anyway cousin."
"Welcome to the Gionovese Joint Luca."
"My pleasure."
"They haven't found Xavier." Rocco walked beside me as we went to Cardinal's office
I hadn't gone home in hours and I knew the girls were worried but I didn't want them more tangled up in Cardinal's scheme then they already were-especially Royalty.
"Oh geez?" I groaned "Where the heck is he?!"
I was growing a little frustrated with his absence for so long and my Uncle wasn't much of a help as he won't say a word. That made my temper fly sky-rocket and I was really in a foul mood.
"We're trying Nico." Rocco opened the door to Cardinal's office
"Have you got something out of him?" I asked walking in behind him
"Not yet." Rocco turned on the lights "Easier said than done. We might as well give up and just hand him over."
"Not in my vocabulary." I grinned and then turned to face the man who had neglected me as a child while I was under his custody "Hello Uncle. Had a nice rest?"
I had the men tie him to the chair and we left him there for a few days with one of the men bringing him food and water. I took out my gun out my pocket and rested it on the table.
