"Hello my dear." he greeted me "My, you look lovely as usual."
I blushed a little.
"This is Phillip. He's the owner of Star Teen magazine." he introduced the man
"Hello." I shook hands
"I'm looking forward to working with you." Phillip said in a thick British accent "Let's get started."
"Certainly."
I followed him to where the cameras we placed. I wasn't bad as a model and I found that the right eye position and body position with the right expression and smile was all the camera needed and I was on the front page.
I was glad when night time came to leave and one of the bodyguards came to collect me.
"Thank you Nathan." I said as I slid into the back of the limo.
The guard nodded and closed the door before getting in and driving. I felt bad for what happened with Xavier. It took me a day to realize I was asking for too much. He was a mafia boss who had endless 'no strings attached relationships' in his past and here I was in a relationship with him demanding things which would take a while for him to get use to. I felt bad and I needed to apologize to him as soon as I got home or my conscience will never leave me alone.
Xavier's POV
Royalty left the study and slammed the door shut. I felt my heart sink a little and I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed.
What on earth are you doing Xavier? She's right. She needs all of you Xavier....not half of you! Time to end the crap. It's time to move on from so much meaningless relationships and focus on one which is worth your time.
I got off the table and went into the kitchen. I met Cristiano and Geovanni.
"What's up with Royalty?" Geo asked me "She seemed pretty pissed a while ago."
I didn't answer and leaned on the door frame running my fingers through my hair.
"Everything alright?" Chrissy asked
I looked at him.
"No." I answered
"What's up fratellino?" Chrissy inquired
"Just had a fight with her." I told him
"Ooo." Geovanni softly said
Jianan walked in just then.
"Xav is everything alright with you and queen bee?" he asked "I heard her slam her room door."
"They had a fight." Chrissy answered before I could
"Ooooo." Jianan said making his mouth and 'o'
"Sit." Chrissy pulled out a chair "Let's give some manly advice."
I rolled my eyes but sat down. The boys may not have the best answers to everything but it helped.
"What did you fight for?" asked Jianan
"Me leaving her half way." I answered
"Why do you leave her?" asked Geo
"I'm used to string-less love." I replied "It's hard to stick with one girl."
"At least try for her sake." Chrissy advised "Even for just once. Just satisfy her for once."
"The last thing on my mind is to hurt her." I looked out the window "She's been through a lot so far and I don't want to put her through any more."
"Xavier you've got to stick to her. Try for her sake. If you really love her you'll change for her sake Xav." Jianan said "You never know. You might get laid within the next month."
I turned and slapped him on his back.
"You're not helping." Chrissy folded his arms
"Just saying." Jianan strugged
I rolled my eyes. Neveah stormed into the kitchen just them with tears running down her face. I instantly got defensive. I hated seeing both Royalty and Neveah crying. It always hit my soft spot when they're hurt.
"What's wrong?" Geovanni asked
By her mood I could tell that was one bad mistake.
"Your cousin that's what!" she yelled at him
"Wow!" Geo put his hand up in surrender "Are you on your period? I just asked a simple question. Two words."
"Geovanni shut up!" she shot back
He did shut his mouth knowing that when Neveah was in a bad mood it was best not to argue with her or say anything to her until she was a little better. Well at least that's the rule for the others. I got up and went over to her as she leaned on the counter crying into her hands. Tears were soaking through the spaces in her fingers. I put my arms around her and buried my face into her soft curly hair.
"What's wrong?" I asked her softly
If she explodes it's because you said the same thing like Geo!
"Damien." she answered
"What'd he do?"
"I've got a feeling he's cheating on me but I don't know with who."
"Really?"
She nodded and buried herself into my chest. I was 6'0 and she was 5'12. That was one of our minor differences.
"Why'd you think he's cheating on you?" I questioned further
"I don't know I just have the felling." she replied "He's never in the mood now and he's always around those other girls here and...."
She was crying again and I rubbed her back slowly. She was right there. Damien seemed a little distant with Neveah and as she mentioned it I had a hunch that he was with another girl but wasn't telling her. I let her cry and when she calmed down I left her and went to work. For the day my mind was on Royalty and I needed to make things up with her fast. She got home a few minutes after me and went straight to her room. I figured she was still mad at me.
"Go after her." Chrissy said sensing my uneasiness "The both of you have to make it up."
"Yeah." Geo joined in "Don't let that spoil the two of you."
"Make sure to finish it." Jianan gave me a thumb's up and I knew what he meant.
I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair before getting up and going up to Royalty's room. I knocked on her door softly.
