Chapter 31 Jenny

"Ah! There you are, Jenny. Why don't we go inside so we can chat after?" Keith's mom gestured for them to walk inside.
Keith groaned as he put his hand on Vale's lower back, making her bit her lip from whimpering at the pain.
Dylan whispers something to his ear and Keith tensed up when he realized something and intertwined their fingers instead.
The look of nervousness on Keith's face when he saw Jenny made her stomach go somersault. The feeling of not knowing what causes him to be nervous made her stomach churned.
'What is their relationship? Could it be his ex?'
'Is she a gang leader's daughter that needs to marry Keith to be allies?'
'What am I? A tool to push the woman away?'
Vale shakes her head lightly at the thousand questions forming in her brain.
They sat at the dinner table. There are so many kinds of delicious food on the table, almost making her drool.
She sat beside Keith.
The entire dinner went well as they made a little chit chat.
Vale's eyes were going to pop out. She can't count the amount of time she had to glare at the guys because their mouth is full of food when they were talking.
They'll grin sheepishly at her and mouthed sorry after. Keith's free hands were rubbing circles on her knee from time to time, dropping her nervousness.
My heart sank a little at the fierce glare Jenny was throwing at me throughout the dinner. The feeling of possessiveness takes over me at the thought of Keith with another woman.
After dinner, they gather together in the living room. She sat beside Keith. Brett with Lexy. Jake with Keith's younger sister and younger brother. Caleb and Dylan with Jenny between them.
"So, who is Keith gonna proposed to?" Jenny asked as if she had wanted to ask the question for a very long time.
"To Valentina." Sam pointed at Vale.
"B-but, you said you're gonna introduce me to your son." she furrowed her eyebrows.
Vale's eyes narrow at her and Sam.
Sam only smiles at her while leaning into her husband's chest.
"I did." she calmly said.
"I don't understand. You didn't mean Blake, do you?"
They turn their head towards Blake, who paled at the idea.
"I do have a son. Three sons exactly," she stated.
"What? Mom, what are you talking about?" Keith tensed.
His body turns rigid.
Sam shook his head as Eric chuckles.
"Considering Keith never appreciate women that I bring to him, I started searching for my other son's soon-to-be-wife. Jenny, I've known you for a week, and I know you are perfect for him." Sam said, emphasizing the word appreciate sarcastically.
It was as if her breath was sucked out of her lungs when Sam mentions finding Keith, a wife. She never heard of this before, and the guys were good at keeping this little fact a secret.
Looking at Jenny made her thought of different beautiful women besides Keith, and a scowl was itching to appear on her face.
"It wasn't me, right?" Blake coughed awkwardly as he peered at his mom.
Mitchell kicked his leg, making him hiss as he glare at her.
"You're 17, and she was like 22 years old! Of course not, twerp!" She tries to whisper-shout at him.
Vale bit her lip to hide her laugh from ruining the mood.
"Mom, what are you hiding from us?" Keith was shifting on his seat now.
Vale took hold of his hand, and he leaned on the couch as she leaned into him, listening to his heart beating.
"Dylan, what do you think about her?" Sam smiled at him.
Dylan shot up from the couch in surprise. His mouth opens and closes again like a fish gasping for air.
"B-but, ma.." Dylan was speechless.
"The second you turn up at our door on day one, we've considered you as one of our sons. Right, honey?" Sam turns to her husband.
"Yes, I'm glad to meet such a fine, tough boy like you. I'll be more than glad to call you one of my sons. Oh! You might don't have a choice at all. Sam has been complaining about me not telling you to be a part of my family for a very very long time." Eric smiled, and that almost made my mouth full of flies.
'Hello shit! The so-called terrifying retired gang leader is actually smiling.'
"Thank you, Pa..Ma.." Dylan's face was priceless.
"Dylan, sit down." Sam gestured.
"You can think first, I will not force you to marry someone you're not happy with."
She was actually considerate towards him.
She turns her attention to Vale.
Vale gulped.
"So, Vale..." she took the glass offered by the maid and takes a sip from it before placing it down the coffee table in front of them.
"How long have you and my son been together?"
