"All your training with the Alpha for a week sure did teach you something," Edward said proudly.
"Luna, you're amazing!" John exclaimed happily.
Some of the guys quickly grabbed Wendy by the arm and took her outside. It was as if they knew she had tried to harm their Luna.
"What are you going to do with her?" Anastasia asked.
"Lock her up," Oliver answered. "No one's allowed to disrespect our Luna. It is punishable by law."
"Don't worry, Luna. You'll be safer with her locked up."
Anastasia nodded. It had to be done. She would've been fine with it but Wendy pushed hard to give in to her anger and madness towards the end. She had to pay for it.
"Baby doll, you're truly something," Alpha Draco spoke with pride. He moved to touch her hand but Anastasia quickly moved away from him with a glare.
"I think you're forgetting to tell me something." When Draco still looked at her with confusion. Anastasia sighed. "You and Wendy?"
Draco grimaced, looking down at her with guilt. Then his loud voice erupted around the room, "Leave us."
Everyone quickly moved out of the room, leaving the two of them in the comfort room. Anastasia waited patiently for him to speak.
"We never had a relationship," he began, his voice promising honesty. "All we had was a mutual understanding of personal needs."
Anastasia raised an eyebrow. "Personal needs, huh?"
"I hope you won't take this the wrong way."
"I hope so, too. You shouldn't have kept this from me."
"Look, I didn't want you to think it was important. I didn't take it seriously. All we had was nothing more than sexual. Please, believe me."
"I know you're telling the truth," Anastasia sighed. "But it still doesn't feel good to know about it this way."
"It won't happen again, I promise. It hurts me when you're hurt. I hope you know that."
Anastasia looked up at him with sadness. "Tell me everything about you. Let's start from the beginning, okay?"
"As you wish."
"But for now," she said slyly. "Let's go back to training."
Draco chuckled. "Alright, baby doll."
The training went on for a few more hours and Anastasia was beyond exhausted to even move her arms and go for a walk. Draco had tried his best to train her and she tried her best to follow his orders and meet his standards. It seemed he'd been going easy on her, as it would show. But she didn't want anyone to think that she was weak. She could be strong, just like them.
"I hope you're ready to fight with the Alpha tomorrow, Luna," Jacob reminded from behind her. Tomorrow was a big day. She was supposed to fight the Alpha.
Anastasia gulped. Well, this was her chance to prove herself to the whole pack. She deserved the Luna title and she deserved to be the Alpha's mate.
That night, Anastasia helped in preparing dinner. John and Jacob, Amanda's sons, were also there to help her. Surprisingly, they were fun to hang out with. John was the older one and Jacob came after him after a few years. They were born and raised in the mansion.
"So are you telling me that you guys are the youngest werewolves in the mansion?"
"Pretty much," Jacob replied. "We might not look like it though."
"There hasn't been new pups ever since."
"But I guess there will be new pups in the future," John teased.
"I don't know," Anastasia shrugged. These guys were really good in teasing.
"Why not?" Jacob asked. "The Alpha seems to be head over heels for you. I doubt he'd let you go."
"He won't?" she repeated.
"Why would he?" John questioned. "Trust me, a girl like you is hard to find. If you were my mate, I'd mate with you as soon as possible."
But Draco didn't mate with her yet. He hadn't marked her. That alone would prove that he was honest to her and that he was willing to put her first before his needs.
Alpha Draco, you really are something, she thought.
"Is everything ready?" Amanda asked, breaking their conversation.
Anastasia nodded. "Almost."
They began preparing everything and soon dinner had started. Alpha Draco was right there with her, supporting her as all the other guys asked her about how she managed to dodge Wendy's attacks. Alpha Draco had promised that he'll punish Wendy as he saw fit. Anastasia only hoped he wouldn't go too hard on Wendy.
"Teach me some of those moves, Luna," Mia, John's mate, said. She was one of the girls who dressed as maids. Apparently, she had a little experience in fighting and she was only a beginner.
"Sure," Anastasia answered with a smile. Things were slowly getting better and she was slowly getting to know everyone.
They were all eating happily until the guys suddenly began bringing out the wine. The conversation was slowly getting deeper and deeper.
"How did Alpha Draco find you exactly?" Janna asked, another maid who looked like an asian girl. She looked very much like it with her jet black hair and chic bangs.
"Well, he found me at a restaurant I used to work at. And then there was this evil stranger guy that tried to take me away and Alpha Draco saved me."
"He must've been like a knight in shining armor, am I right?" Sally asked, giggling.
"Um, not really," Anastasia said, laughing. "I didn't know him then so I was pretty much afraid of what was going on."
"Poor Luna must've been scared to death," Janna said, looking at her with pity.
"But I'm okay now," Anastasia tried to tell them. "I'm doing better more than ever. After everything that happened, I'm glad to be here now.. with all of you."
"Aww," everyone murmured. The guys were even cheering. Anastasia felt almost like a celebrity.
"You should rest now," Alpha Draco said beside her. "It's getting late."
"Alright," she said with a glint of smirk. "As long as you'll come with me."
Alpha Draco's eyes instantly darkened. "Let's go."
Anastasia chuckled as he quickly carried her in his arms. He quickly opened the bedroom door and put her on the bed. Anastasia gasped as he pulled her towards him. She ended up bent backwards with him knelt on the foot of the bed.
"What are you doing?" she asked, looking down at him amused.
He smirked evilly. "Getting ready to eat my dessert."
