CompletedAbstract
In a snow-covered park, an amnesiac woman awakens in excruciating pain to find a female corpse in a red coat lying beside her. Using an ID card, she identifies herself as Sato Kiko and decides to analyze the crime scene to clear her name. By observing subtle clues—a red scarf hanging high in a tree branch and two apartment buildings of different heights—she deduces this was a meticulously planned body disposal. The killer had intended to throw the corpse from the taller building onto the roof of the shorter one to fake an accident, but tree branches interfered with the trajectory, causing the plan to fail and the body to accidentally strike her as she passed by. When she looks up at a suspicious window in the high-rise, she spots a silhouette smoking, watching her. However, just as she approaches the truth, she receives another devastating blow to the back of her head.
