cause he is beyond that. I don't think there is any girl in the world who wouldn't droll at him. His looks...

He looked so fuc**ng good giving off an angelic yet dangerous aura. A beautiful Devil. His features looked as if they were perfectly carved and his tousled hair fell just right in place. It felt like G*d stole 95% of men's beauty when he created this man.

I couldn't bring myself to say anything to him and just stared at the figure before me in silence. Everything happening was so overwhelming that my brain was yet to digest the information. It felt like my brain has gone on holiday since I met him last night.

"Take her into the car Apollo we don't have all day." The man who once carried me led me to the black Prado parked at the entrance of our little cozy apartment quietly.

I stared back at mother and father hoping they would say something or at least stop me from leaving, but they did none. They only stared at me, looking so unfazed at my departure like I had been a burden to them.

I still could not believe any of this was real, everything was happening so quickly. Only last week did I finally graduate from high school to be married to a stranger today.

I would never forgive my family for this.

Mr Lloyd spoke to them for a while before heading back to our car. They looked terrified by him too, was he bullying them to take me away? Who is this man and what does he want from my family?

He sat next to me and the chauffeur drove off.

Our drive was long and silent, it felt suffocating sitting next to him. I stared out the window staring at the big city just to avoid those grey uncomfortable eyes on me.

"You don't seem like much of a talker." I heard his voice but I ignored him and just kept staring at the city.

The car turned quiet again as neither of us said a thing to each other.

"There are rules you have to follow in being my wife little one." I heard him say but I still ignored. "Look at me when I'm talking to you." He commanded and my head impulsively turned to his direction. I fought so hard to keep my gaze on him whilst trying to stay calm.

He sighed before parting his lips to speak, "First rule, don't leave the mansion under any circumstances. Don't touch whatever belongs to me, don't poke into my business as I wouldn't into yours. You would follow me to whatever event I'm to attend. And lastly, anything you need the butler will provide." He said.

"You'd have a home tutor every once in a while as you attend school too. Don't forget we're legally married now so don't try to run away 'cause I will find you." He said coldly. My heart sank into my chest at his words, 'Were legally married', I repeated his words in my head over and over again, still trying to figure out what I did wrong to my parents to be forced into this. I know I've been good all my life, I've never once disrespected father before.

"Apollo would take you home, when you get there read whatever document the butler gives to you, the few rules I left out are in there." His words interrupted my thoughts again.

We arrived at the jet terminal after our long drive...

AUTHORS POV LANCE,

.

Lance was silent the entire drive to the airport letting the little girl adjust to the information and everything happening around her. He didn't like the idea of getting married to her either. He wouldn't even look at her on a normal day not to think of getting married to a little 19 years old, who had no idea how the world works. What his world was like...

It's quite fascinating how calm she's turned out to be even with her little stunt earlier. His family was a pioneer in this, it's the Lloyd's family tradition, he let out a sigh passing his hands through his hair which quickly went back to normal the moment he let it go.

He had no idea what he was getting into, he didn't know how to be a good son, he hasn't practiced on being a good boyfriend and now he's been elevated to a husband status with an immature. What if she falls ill, or she needs any of her girlie things...?

PENNY,

Why did you get married to me? There are so many other women in the world why does it have to be me? Where part of the numerous questions going through Penny's head.

Though he said he didn't have a choice, to Penny, that wasn't a clear explanation.

She wanted to scream, every damn thing was driving her crazy, insane, mad. She was losing it, she wanted to sleep and wake up with her life going back to before all of this.

Maybe she was still sleeping, maybe she was in some kind of repeated world or she's been taken to another world by a force of field or something else. There must be a scientific explanation for whatever garbage she was thinking.

Both people stepped out of the car heading for the black jet surrounded by a few guards, the chef, the pilot, flight attendants and some other people ready to welcome the new madam of the Lloyd's empire. Lance talked to a man in white before leaving with another car.

Penny stepped into the jet alone as it seems like her supposed husband was not coming with her and had decided to stay back rather. This is it. This is her life now. She's married to a man named Lance Lloyd who she had zero knowledge of, someone that is not on the news, yet pose to be a wealthy person...

Maybe he's a mafia lord, from what she's heard and seen in Los Angeles, mafia lords are the only rich people who hide their identity.

.

.

It was a long never-ending flight, I slept in the jet more than five times and by the time I woke up, it was already dark. My evening meal was served which I rejected again like the other meals. My heart was too heavy to let my stomach feel hunger. It felt like I had been stabbed multiple times and no matter how hard I tried to encourage myself, the pain just wouldn't go away.

My emotions were getting the best of me, I felt betrayed by my family, backstabbed, and belittled. At least an explanation would have been better, their goodbyes would have done more...

I needed to understand why I was married to an unknown man. Why I was married against my will? Why they would give me out for money? Since that's the only possible explanation for everything happening.

The jet finally landed the next morning and I stepped out of it in a black jacket and pants like I was mourning someone. Of course, I was in mourning, I had just lost my freedom to a stranger.

Usually, when people arrive in a new environment, they feel happy to be there, but I... I just couldn't define my feelings. The guards led me to the car parked just close to where the jet had stopped. I stepped into the car which quickly accelerated out of the jet terminal and airport entirely.

All I could think of right now was what awaited me, my future ahead. What my life would be like now I'm married...

Our car accelerated with minimum speed into the city as my eyes trailed the tall buildings of houses and different large companies or co-operations on our way. I had no idea what country I was in until I saw a billboard saying welcome to Italy. This place is so far away from home, even if I wanted to run away, how was I supposed to do that now?

We were being escorted by two convoys, one leading the way and another one directly behind us. It felt like we took a right turn before arriving at an estate, I noticed the trails of large trees for quite some time till our car came to halt before a large wooden gate.

Before the gate were two armless gigantic-looking men who walked up to our car inspecting the car carefully. A pair of hazel eyes stared at me, I could have sworn I just saw red eyes dilating to hazel ones.

His creepy eyes lingered around my body before bowing slightly, he raised his hands for the second man at the gate and the man nodded pushing the large gate till they were split in half. Stating their madam had arrived. The chauffeur drove into the large yard, I could already feel my heart raising at the sight of the large mansion before us.
