While the people danced and partied into the night, a pair of crimson eyes scampered among the crowd lazily till it fell on the tiny figure standing just at the entrance of the large hall. He could hear her unsteady heartbeats as she stood there, he chuckled.

It turns out the little lamb was scared to death. Her slender little fingers gripped the tray tightly when she was called upon by a man.

His eyes followed her quietly as she started walking to serve the man.

He had been watching her for quiet some time now as she seemed like the only amusing thing in his palace.

The first person that has made his lips curl in decades.

When they said the prince was sleeping... Well that's what he made them believe as he has been hibernating for centuries after getting bored of life. Life seemed so worthless especially for his cursed self.

Vampires tend to live for so long but would eventually die, but he's cursed to live in this human world forever. That's the curse placed on him for his evil deeds. To live with the people he despised the most forever.

After attending his celebratory ball for years after years, after years, still not deciding to come out yet and just love to be hidden, Prince Rheagal has finally found a new hobby. The brown haired pauper who has caught his attention tonight in the midst of the crowd...

"THE TOMB... THE TOMB IS FOUND OPEN AND EMPTY WHERE'S HIS GRACE?"

A guard screamed into the hall informing everyone and murmurs and whispers could be heard flying from one angle of the hall to another. Everyone turned alert, heads swung from one angle to another just in case their prince was in their midst.

They didn't know whether to be terrified at this or to merry at this information. The prince has been sleeping for centuries, no one knows the state he might be in. He might be in his red mode or normal mode but they doubt he was in his normal mode. For all they remembered, this vampire has not had a thing to eat in decades.

The humans in the room panicked more, they would be dead meat if the prince decides to feast on them.

"Does this mean our prince is awake?" A woman asked gingerly from the crowd.

No one had the answer to her question. If their prince was awake why is he not out yet? Why was he not here to celebrate with them? Or has his body been stolen?

Jeeves steeped out of the crowd and back to the tomb room to confirm what they just heard and the guard was right. The tomb was found empty.

He panicked but still maintained a calm demeanor. There could be a massacre tonight, lots of lives could be lost by the hungry vampire prince. He had to calm everyone down and ask them to leave immediately so he could settle this with the remaining people in the manor.

He stepped back into the grand hall which has now turned into chaos even with the music playing.

No one was in the right state of mind for music at the moment except the vampires who still looked unfazed but happy at the situation. The humans on the other hands were frightened by the news. While most people have already started leaving, others tried to stay calm.

"May I have your attention?" Jeeves stood at the podium to speak but no one seems to be listening to him.

"Please calm down everyone. Yes the tomb is indeed empty as it seems our prince is... Awake... Or missing. We don't have an idea where he is, but I promise the issue would be resolved soon. For now, I would love everyone to return home the hallow is over." Jeeves declared openly.

The murmurs didn't stop as the people left in their masses to their respective carriages one after another till the castle was back to it's normal state. Cold and quiet.

All of the maids headed back to their stations, scared for their lives. A few of them was picked among the rest to serve as the princes meal, just in case he shows up.

They were tied with white peice of clothing that was barely covering their body, while their skin was bath with blood. Sometimes vampires tend to eat their meal in the most erotic ways possible. They all had no idea what he might want, but they were up for anything.

Standing on the roof top of the dark castle is Eurella, her bright green eyes stared at the stars in the sky as she tried counting them one after another. She knew it was impossible but this was better than being in a room filled with predator.

Oh how she would never forgive her Aunt Melody, if she hadn't forced her here, she would have been somewhere safe. Maybe on her bed reading one of her favorite books.

It hasn't been long since she started working in the manor. She's heard series of stories from the other maids about the past rulers of the castle who ruled for centuries. How evil their young prince turned out to be the moment he lost both his parents, but the people had to put him to sleep.

She wasn't quite familiar with the rules as she was still trying to adjust to her new environment. Eurella needed air from the suffocating air she just went through back at the hallow festival. She had left the hall after her shift and didn't hear the instructions from the head maid for all maids to head back to their quarters.

She continued counting the stars till suddenly, a cold rush of wind passed, making her shiver. As if hearing a footstep behind her, she turned around to only be frightened by who was standing right infront of her.

A pair of crimson eyes stared down at her heavily, his black hair flowed occasionally with the rising wind. He was tall, no tall is not the word. Huge, nothing like she's ever seen before.

I got up the next day still yet to believe I've been married to a monster. I had no idea who he was, or what he was in this city and why father would let him take me away.

Father is supposed to be the most powerful man in Hearthaven but here I am, being taken by an unknown man.

Maybe he's arranging a way to get me back. There's no way he'll leave me in the hands of this ruthless man.

I got out of bed and went ahead to shower still showering I heard him call my name. "Fraye." He called but I said nothing.

"Fraye." He called again and I still didn't respond.

"Don't make me find you myself." I tied the white little towel on the stand which barely covered my body and stepped out of the bathroom.

"Didn't you hear me call?" His eyes roamed around me for the briefest moment before casually settling on my face.

"Good morning my husband." He frowned at my words.

"Who asked you to bath in there?" I blinked at him.

"Where else am I supposed to bath?" He said nothing to me.

"Get dressed and come to the bedroom I want to talk to you." He walked away. I scoffed at his words rolling my eyes at him.

'Just wait and see what my father would do to you." I muttered.

I walked into the closet to get dressed, but since I had nothing else to wear, I wore his shirt. I picked a random jewelry from his locker and placed it on my fingers, brushing my wet hair down to my back before stepping out of the closet.

"What are you doing in my clothes?" He suddenly asked when I stepped back into the bedroom.

"What else am I supposed to wear, my thorn wedding dress?" I was fed up with his useless questions. It's not like there were women clothes in there and I decided not to wear them.

"What else would you wear? Take off that shirt. Now!! He ordered and I scoffed, rolling my eyes at him.

I couldn't believe this crazy man, he would rather see me naked than wear his shirt?

"I'm not taking it off." I said to see him smile.

"Don't dare me fraye."

"What would you do?" I challenged and in the next moment he was standing right next to me.

"You seem to forget whose house you're in." He moved his fingers around my neck then grabbed it pulling me close to him.

"I'm not one to play with fraye. Don't tempt me." I pinched his hands struggling to breath as he squeezed my neck further, blocking any possible air from my lungs. My eyes moistened. I was sure all of my veins were popping out by now, but this monster wasn't moved by it.
