A small man sat in his tub listening to classical music as he swung his hand in the air humming along with his eyes closed. By his side was a tray fruit and his favorite wine and a few maids ready to serve him. "Get me my darling Quetta, tell her to come bath me." He said with a smile.
He groaned at the thought of her soft hands touching his body again.
"Yes sir." Bones stepped out of his master's chamber immediately in search of their little mistress. The one woman their boss has chosen to be his after killing his stupid strong-headed sister Liana.
He opened the room his little mistress usually sleeps in to find it empty. Bones rushed out immediately alarming everyone in the mansion to look for her. It wouldn't be the first time their little madam has tried to escape, she should be lucky their boss is so in love with her that he wouldn't punish her for her acts.
The entire mansion was in chaos, they knew heads would roll if their boss does not find their madam again.
Bones walked back into his boss's chambers. "Err boss." He fumbled a bit, thinking of how to explain to his boss that their madam has gone missing again for the one hundred, thousand time.
"What is it Bone and where's my darling Quetta." Gabriel frowned at the man standing before him without his woman. He knows that face from anywhere, something bad must have happened to his little woman. It's either she's gone missing again or even worse. He gritted his teeth at the thought of this.
"I... I think she's missing again boss." Bone closed his eyes ready for anything his boss wanted to do with him. Today wouldn't be any different from the other days, rather than punishing their little madam he would rather punish them instead for not watching her closely. He still couldn't understand why they're being punished for her.
"What do you mean missing?" He sat up in the tub.
"I leave her for one minute and she's gone?" Gabriel threw his glass of wine for it to splash all over the wall. He flung the tray of fruit aside to have all the fruit splattered on the floor as he stepped out of the tub. He wore his robe and stepped out of the bathroom.
"I give you all instructions to take care of a little girl and none of you can. You all would let one little girl outsmart all of you. I swear to God if I don't find her..." His thunderous voice rumbled in the mansion causing commotion among his men. He has killed one person before cause of their little mistress and wouldn't mind doing it again. His little feet paddled into her room as he stumbled into her balcony to find his beloved in there untying her shoes.
Her green eyes met his immediately and a little gasp escaped her delicate lips as she stared at him like a little child that has been caught.
Even if Quetta was an average looking girl not fat and not so slim after everything he feeds her with, she was way taller than the man before her. She had grown way taller than he is or will ever be.
"Where have you been Quetta". His voice was soft and tender like he wasn't shouting just a moment ago.
"I went out for a walk". Bone eyed the girl lying before him. She's lucky their boss is still blinded by his love for her else, she would have been dead by now.
Quetta's eyes shifted to the old man who glared at her and she bit her lips, blinking her big round eyes at him but the old man was the least interested in her games. He's the only one that was very aware of her plans and even if he had told his boss about it countless time the man wouldn't believe.
She has successfully charmed everyone with her beauty except this man. He seems so stubborn and wouldn't fall no matter what.
"But I've asked you not to leave this mansion ever. Do you want me to punish you before you obey me?" She flinched at Gabriel's words staring at him with wide eyes. It's the first time Gabriel has ever initiated such and the look on his face tells he would definitely do it without a second thought.
She shook her head in response to him staring down at her feet.
"You scared everyone madam, including boss and ruined his sumptuous breakfast in the shower." Bone added. He had sworn he would break her spell from his boss and he knew just how to do that.
His madam has cause so much trouble for them all, it is either she's dealt with now or killed out of their lives.
"I'm sorry." Quetta said quickly.
"Sorry wouldn't be enough this time. You've been sorry for a long time yet refused to change. It's best we handle this now we still can boss before she gets out of control. Keep her at bail now or one day she would run away like today and never return." She lifted her head to look at Bone with wide eyes.
"NEVER!! Gabriel yelled.
These man is really out for her today, Quetta thought as she glared at him. "I promise this time I'll never do it again." She quickly said in surrender.
Though she has always wondered what the world looked like beneath the trees and vast lands she always saw, but she couldn't tell. She has only been out a day in her life, that was the day Gabriel took her away from her mother and her sisters. She could see how beautiful the city was from the car that day and never saw the beautiful city ever again.
Jacquetta has never been outside in her life and that's her biggest wish, to be outside. To see the world beyond this mansion and the vast land.
To see what the other men and women looked like not to be locked in here with a bunch of old men and drug dealers. Though she's betrothed to Gabriel, he was far from the kind of men she wanted. She wanted the type she saw on news outlets, not a small fat man with round sized stomach. Who eats a lot and make her touch his body whenever he wanted.
"We'll know about that after the punishment boss has for you." Bone said casually.
"I have punishments?" Gabriel turned to look at the man a bit astonished.
"Yes you do boss. You always do." At Bone's words, "Pillar, Red, come right here." Gabriel said in a commanding manner and two gigantic men stepped into the room.
"Take her to the punishment room. Punish her till I say stop."
"No no no." Before Quetta could run both men grabbed her hands, "Gabriel please I won't disobey you anymore please don't do this." Quetta cried struggling out of their grip as they took her away, but Gabriel turned his face from her for the first time since she knew him.
Both men dragged her into the punishment room.
I got up the next day still yet to believe I've been married to a monster. I had no idea who he was, or what he was in this city and why father would let him take me away.
Father is supposed to be the most powerful man in Hearthaven but here I am, being taken by an unknown man.
Maybe he's arranging a way to get me back. There's no way he'll leave me in the hands of this ruthless man.
I got out of bed and went ahead to shower still showering I heard him call my name. "Fraye." He called but I said nothing.
"Fraye." He called again and I still didn't respond.
"Don't make me find you myself." I tied the white little towel on the stand which barely covered my body and stepped out of the bathroom.
"Didn't you hear me call?" His eyes roamed around me for the briefest moment before casually settling on my face.
"Good morning my husband." He frowned at my words.
"Who asked you to bath in there?" I blinked at him.
"Where else am I supposed to bath?" He said nothing to me.
"Get dressed and come to the bedroom I want to talk to you." He walked away. I scoffed at his words rolling my eyes at him.
'Just wait and see what my father would do to you." I muttered.
I walked into the closet to get dressed, but since I had nothing else to wear, I wore his shirt. I picked a random jewelry from his locker and placed it on my fingers, brushing my wet hair down to my back before stepping out of the closet.
"What are you doing in my clothes?" He suddenly asked when I stepped back into the bedroom.
