"What's going on?" A girl approached them gingerly and asked.
"Ma'am we don't want any trouble, we just need their phones." One of the guard said. They had clearly seen them taking pictures and videos of Noah and Anna.
"But why would you want their phone? You're here to protect us not harass us and take our phone." The woman said calmly and the other people around nodded in agreement.
"They even threatened to harm us if we don't give them our phone, who does that?" Nari asked immediately smiling at their victory. She would never let anything come between her and ruining Anna today. Tonight is the final night and by tomorrow if nothing is done, Anna would be declared the next diamond before her.
That is something she would never accept. Not in this life, or the next.
"We need to report them to the head for harassment." Ava added and the other people in there agreed.
"Ma'am, we are not harassing you, we saw you take pictures of miss Sui, that is why we asked for the phone." One of the guard said and the other added, "What do you want to do with miss Sui's photo, are you planning on setting her up?" Ava's eyes turned wide in embarrassment. She didn't know these guards will try to expose them.
She thought guards were all about actions not words so that she could scream harassment and then win over them because she's feminine and soft. She didn't like where this was going, especially since everyone was looking at her weirdly.
They all know she's the only one who talks to Anna here, and they may think her friendship with Anna is fake. Ava bit her lips, she needed to get out of this in some way.
"Lies." Nari screamed.
"They're lying, we were taking pictures of ourselves not Anna. Why would we even take pictures of Anna?" Nari asked trying to sway the minds of everyone from what the guards just said.
"That's a strong accusation you know. How dare you accuse us wrongly?" Ava spat.
"If our accusations are wrong prove it."
"All we asked was to have your phones to delete the pictures and recording you took of Anna Sui to avoid troubles." The guard shrugged.
"Did you take pictures of Anna without her consent Ava?" The girl who had tried to defend them before asked. Everyone knew you couldn't take pictures of another known figure without their permission. It's like an unwritten rule that people are meant to understand.
"Why would you even take pictures of Anna, Ava? What are you planning." Another person in there spoke out.
"How did you know we took pictures of Anna?" Nari tried to defend herself.
"If you didn't take any pictures, then give the guards your phone to confirm so we can all keep partying." The girl brought her hands to her chest as she stared at Ava. Everyone did too because they all nodded in agreement.
"So... what if I took pictures of Anna, she's my friend and we understand that. It's our thing." Noah smiled at her lies. Public figures and their lies is always so funny. Most times it makes them look so stupid but they don't care. They're already stupid enought to care if other people find out about their stupidity.
These petty fights are really not worth it. But he enjoys the embarrassment that comes after.
Anna on the other hand couldn't believe what she was seeing. She was a little tipsy before and was acting out, but it didn't mean she couldn't understand whatever was going on.
She had gotten so used to Noah that she forgot they were in public tonight, and her naughty hubby had encouraged her bahavior. He always encourage it, whether its good one or bad.
"And what about you Nari, are you Anna's friend too?" Nari frowned at the way things were going. Even if they had stylishly taken pictures of Anna, these guards still saw them. She should have known Noah wouldn't just decide to expose himself without plans.
"I didn't take pictures of Anna." Nari said with a frown.
"Anna." Ava rushed to her side immediately. She needed to get Anna's approval so that she doesn't get embarrassed tonight. So far she didn't think she has done anything wrong to Anna. She didn't think Anna had seen her push her before.
"I will never take pictures of you for the wrong reasons Anna. You've known me for a while to know I'm not a bad person." She said trying to convince the girl she thought to be stupid and naive. Anna has been dealt with by so many people in the industry to fall for Ava's trick.
She knew she couldn't be trusted after their runway show tonight. Ava is close friends with Nari and it's quite amusing how they're both hiding it.
"I don't permit you just taking random photos of me. Are you trying to set me up Ava?" Anna asked glaring at the girl. She was a little tipsy so is her mouth.
"What are you talking about Anna? I'm your friend Ava."
"You took pictures of my private life without my consent." Anna yelled staggering forward from Noah's lap but he was quick to pull her back to himself. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her firmly to himself.
"Alright then." Ava said sniffling gently. The guards didn't waste anymore time to snatch the phone from both Nari and Ava. They turned it on and started deleting the images of Anna and Noah from the phone.
Everyone in there stared at both Ava and Nari disdainfully. They couldn't believe they would stoop this low to try to tarnish Anna's image and soil her name. When the guards were done, they handed the phones back to the girls and threw them out of the club.
