They were going to cut all ties with her over a little misunderstanding? She has been through worst and they did nothing, so why will they cut ties with her when she's being framed?
"Why would they be so petty and unreasonable about something I'm not even involved in?" She yelled feeling really irritated. This was so absurd, how could they be this inconsiderate?
"The event of this morning is not the only reason Nari. Though it somehow finalized everything. They said there have been too much bad press on you lately and it's affecting the company because now the public keeps sending them letters and email to drop you." Nari was left agape at his words.
When did things get this way? And what bad press, she just won the first competition yesterday?
Who is trying to destroy her? Why are they sending emails to her entertainment company.
"I just freaking won the competition yesterday, what else do they want me to do?" She couldn't control her nervousness. She was tired of everything and everyone.
"It seems that's not enough. Haven't you seen the news? You've been getting bad press since yesterday." Edward said.
"I... I just woke up, I didn't bother checking my phone since I was already late for the early morning meeting." Nari explained wondering what bad press she was getting again. She has done nothing wrong, Anna has been the one having bad press recently, yet Eclipse has still refused to drop the bitch.
"Someone had brought up your past record and the public are no longer on your side. Winning this competition isn't going to be as easy as we all thought now." Edward explained. The final stage was about voting, and they needed the public to vote.
Anna already has large following and community. They had been scared she might win, that's why they tried to give her bad press so that it would reduce her chance of winning.
"Who would do that?" Nari asked feeling more frustrated. She closed her eyes trying to calm her racing heart but nothing was working. She couldn't think of who was trying to destroy.
Anna is a fool, she wouldn't have the guts to try anything, plus she has been too focused on her life and problem lately.
What if it's Matilda? Nari shook her head. Edward said the news has been released last night. The moment she got drunk and let lose, her enemies struck. It could be one of the girls in here. They're probably jealous she had won yesterday's competition.
Nari couldn't recall making any enemies with anyone recently.
She ended the call before Edward could respond as she battled with her thoughts. There are so many people on her mind but what drove her crazy is that she couldn't figure out who it is that is trying to destroy her.
As she finally started going through her phone, Nari was seeing different official emails and messages about companies dropping her and no longer interested in working with her. All of the companies that had messaged her last night.
This is even more serious than she had thought...

"... I'm so sorry for the damage Anna. You can borrow my clothes if you want." Anna shook her head at Ava's generous offer as she smiled.
"There's no need for that. Mrs Laura already promised to order new dresses I could wear for the rest of the show." She said politely and Ava nodded. Both ladies walked till they reached in front of Anna's room door.
For Anna, she saw Ava as a nice person and would love to be friends with her, but her life has so many secrets that she couldn't trust anyone with. She was scared of letting anyone else into her circle.
"Do you think Nari also has a hand in this? Something tells me she's not so innocent at all." Ava said with a frown. She may not be as close to Anna as she would love to be, but she still consider Anna her friend and would speak up for her anytime.
"Thank you for standing up for me." Anna said.
"That's what friends are for Anna. We defend each other." She smiled.
"Maybe after this competition we could go out together and have fun?" Ava suggested. They weren't quite familiar with each other, going out together and spending some time together would really strengthen their friendship
"Alright." Anna agreed. She had nothing else she was doing after the competition, it wouldn't be harmful is she hung out with Ava even if it's for a little bit.
"Then I'll see you later." Ava said and started walking away. She was really so happy she was now friends with Anna Sui. Even if she doesn't win, being close to Anna is more than a privilege.
This other girls don't know what they're missing. Anna may not know who she is, but she knows Anna very well.
As Anna stepped back into the room she was greeted by her manager who was overly concentrated on her phone as always. Anna ignored the girl and went ahead to her bed to sleep.
"Isn't it strange that the Mongrels have lost more than half of their sea port around the world in less than three days?" Anna sat up. That was her aunt's Martha's family. She wondered how the woman was doing with all of these losses. The last time she had met Martha, the wan wasn't as welcoming as before.
"I think it's safe to say, 'that bitch' is officially over." Lola smiled and Anna knew exactly who she was talking about. Lola knows it's not good to be happy at someone's downfall, but Nari had been a bitch for long.
"Reigniting an old news is not enough to end her or being her downfall." Anna stated nonchalantly.
"Of course it's not enough, but it's strange that the girls that had been arrested at the airport have all come out to say something negative about Nari." Anna raised her head to look at her, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"What are you talking about?" She asked.
"They said Nari had put them up to it."
