"Why? We already know who did it." Laura said.
"We don't until we see with our own eyes first." Anna said with a straight face and then she smiled sweetly. "You see Mrs Laura, I don't believe she knows who did it. I think she did it and is trying to cover up for it. I don't mean to be so much trouble to you."
"That's a strong accusation."
"It's not an accusation, if I'm certain about it." Anna said.
"You know the consequences of laying such claims without proof Anna. What if we check and it's not true?" Laura asked.
"The. I'll face whatever consequences there is." Anna stated.
"Alright, Let's go to the camera room now." Laura started walking away and Anna followed behind her. The industry is weird, that's one thing she has learned, and Nari knows how to play those games very well.
When they reached the camera room, Laura showed the security men her pass and then he allowed them to step in. According to the rule of the competition, any girl who bully's or tries to sabotage another girl during the competition will automatically be disqualified.
"Good evening, Mrs. Laura," one of the two men monitoring the place greeted. Anna could see every corner of the resort on the cameras, except, of course, the bathrooms.
"I want to see a footage of all the activities that happened in miss Sui's room today." Laura ordered and the men went to work.
Anna's heart skipped a little as the thought of her being wrong flashed her mind. What if it wasn't Julia and it was actually the girl Julia had talked about?
What if she's wrong about Nari this time?
The fought the urge to tell Laur to stop and that she changed her mind. Her curiosity and hate for Nari wouldn't let her.
Heaven knows how had she's tried to ignore that girl, but she still keeps poking her with every chance she gets. Anna was fed up. She's had enough of it.
As the footage began to play, Anna and Laura watched intently. The timestamp showed the events from earlier that day. The camera angle provided a clear view of Anna's room. She could see herself and Lola leaving the room happily.
Minutes into the video, Julia and Matilda appeared on screen. They were cautiously looking around before entering Anna's room. Once inside, their behavior changed completely. Julia went straight to the dresser, pulling out Anna's clothes and throwing them onto the floor. Matilda, meanwhile, grabbed a marker and started scribbling on the walls and mirrors with Anna's lisptick.
She had been the one to ruin her make ups while Julia tore all of her clothes, including Lola's too.
Anna felt her heart race as she watched them methodically destroy her belongings. Julia knocked over a vase, shattering it into pieces, while Matilda continued to write derogatory messages on the walls.
"There," Anna pointed at the screen. "That's proof. Julia and Matilda did all of it." She couldn't believe she was right.
This two girls have been so stupid to let Nari use them for her game. She had been a victim of it too, so she knew how very manipulative Nari could be.
Laura's face hardened as she continued to watch the footage. Julia and Matilda were seen laughing as they made a mess, clearly enjoying their act of sabotage.
"Unbelievable," Laura muttered. "They've broken the rules in the worst possible way."
The video continued to play, showing Julia and Matilda leaving the room, looking smug and pleased with their handiwork. Laura turned to the security men. "Make sure this footage is saved and sent to the officials immediately. This behavior is unacceptable and must be dealt with."
"Yes, Mrs. Laura," one of the men replied, quickly copying the footage to a secure drive.
Laura then turned to Anna. "I'm sorry you had to go through this, Anna. I can't believe I didn't believe you before." Anna smiled at her words.
"It's nothing. It's your duty to not just jump into conclusions." Anna said.
"Since the girls are all hangover and worn-out, we'll render all punishments tomorrow." Anna nodded.
"Thank you, Mrs. Laura."
Anna and Lola walked back to their room after everything, before both ladies could step in, the room has been cleaned like nothing happened before. Anna hurried into the restroom to change and bath. Since she had no extra clothe to wear, she wore the robe and so did Lola who had nothing to wear too.
Laura has promised that they would be given new clothes by tomorrow and they had nothing to worry about.
Once Anna settled in bed, she turned on her phone to see nasty messages and headlines about her. Nari was at it again. Even if she had won the competition tonight, she still wasn't satisfied, she still wanted to turn the public against her so that she would win.
Anna frowned. Enough is enough. She took can play dirty games even more.
She texted her publisher immediately. Outside of Lola handling her socials and everything related to her, Anna still had the contacts of those people and could message them at any time.
The publisher once again released a critic message on one of the biggest blogs in Summerlane and everyone was reminded of the event once again.
The past few days hasn't been in Anna's favour, but it's high time she changed it. She would destroy Nari once and for all this time. She would make sure she never have a face to return again. Nothing or no one would save her this time.
