Nari followed Chans instructions, she moved swiftly to the man with blonde hair as and he smiled when he saw her. He was in a casual shirt and black trouser, looking so simple and smart because of the glasses he wore.
She would judge his appearance to be a 5/10 since he had an ugly face with an average body. Nari couldn't see herself working with such ugly looking man.
"How do you know for sure he would?" She asked.
"He had taught the past diamonds and they all won the show, he would do the same for you. Make sure no one sees him first." Nari could almost hear Channel's words playing in her head like music. She had no idea what to do.
By appearance, this man looked so bad. He smiled at her and her face contoured into a bad frown.
"Nari." Matilda called as she walked over to where her new friend stood. She was also yet to choose a mentor.
"What are you doing standing... Here?" Tilda stared at the blonde haired man and Nari felt slightly embarrassed.
When Chan had talked about the blonde haired man, she had expected to see something else, something different from what she was seeing now.
"Nari look at that hot man over there." Matilda pressed close to her further as she pointed at the instructor every other girl drooled at. The man looked so hot and handsome.
Nari compared both men. It would strike a conversation between the fans watching as everyone would want to ship them and talk about their chemistry. While they wanted a good performance, they also checked appearances too and she cannot jeopardize her image by working with that ugly looking man. Besides she has the talent, the only thing she needs is someone to enhance it for her.
She was immediately interested in him, she already wanted him to teach her immediately. Especially since she saw Anna walking towards his direction.
She stylishly pushed Anna as she fell too, feigning ignorance as always. The handsome mentor helped Nari immediately while the other ladies helped Anna up.
"I'm so so so sorry Anna, are you alright?" She asked but Anna said nothing to her. She already had a built up animosity towards Nari and she knew If she said a thing, she would do a lot of mean things to her.
She'll definitely bite her back, but it'll be when she least expects.
"Are you alright Anna." Ava rushed to her side. She was one of the few people to see Nari push Anna to the side.
"I'm fine."
"Hello." She greeted the handsome mentor with a bright smile and he smiled back. Right now they were being broadcasted live and she knew she had to be careful of what she did or say. A lot of people were watching and by the looks of it, she seems to be on the top trends already, thanks to the blogs Kate had paid for her.
Ava walked Anna over to where she stood with her mentor. She hasn't been around this two rivals for long, but she had already seen enough to know who the devil was. The public might blame Anna for everything, but she's actually the good person her.
"How did the meeting go? If you're here then I guess you're not expelled?" Anna nodded with a smile. She had been scared too I told Laura told her she wasn't going to be kicked out.
"I'm glad nothing of such happened. I was so scared." Ava placed her hands on her chest as she spoke.
"It's time." A woman walked up to them and Ava nodded.
"Anna meet my instructor Diala." Ava introduced.
"It's nice to meet you." Anna waved.
"You too Anna." The woman said.
"Where is your instructor, we're about to start?"
"Alright girls, line up with your chosen instructor." Laura walked in with Channel who had a frown on her face after hearing from the heads that Anna Sui was going to stay. She didn't know why they even asked her to stay, but here she is.
As everyone lined up with their mentors, it turns out Anna was the only one without a mentor. Chan smiled, seeing this as an opportunity to taunt the girl, but then she remembered there were camera's around and she did want to draw suspicions to her action.
"If you don't have a mentor, you can as well move to the side and practice alone." She said briefly, focusing on the other girls. Chan frowned the moment she saw Nari with someone else rather than the blonde haired man she had asked her to meet.
This foolish girl, she gritted her teeth. She never listens, she let's appearances and looks deceive her from the treasure within. And where the hell is Damien?
As if he could read her thoughts, Damien walked back into the hall. He had left before be ause he had to use the restroom but right now he's relieved, he was back again.
"Oh thank goodness another mentor, what took you so long?" Laura said when she saw the man walk in. She posted him up with Anna immediately and asked them to join the others on the line. This action alone was enough to turn Chan mad as she glared at them.
She couldn't hide her hate anymore. They keep trying to destroy this girl, but somehow, she keeps escaping all of their traps.
"Alright, for today's task, you were all asked to showcase your talent and in other to do that to max, we have hired these professionals to guide you through." Laura started.
"They're to help you bring out the part of you you don't know exist." As Laura spoke she stared at Anna and it felt like her words were for Anna.
When she practiceed with Laura, thought it had ended up being a disaster as she kept messing with different keys notes, she still had fun.
