Chapter 169 WHAT'S WORST THAN JEALOUSY? 2

1060words
Anna had always been the beacon of his world, the one person who saw through his cold exterior to the man beneath. The only person he had been kind to all his life and had fallen in love with from the first time they met.

Now, she looked at him like a stranger, and the thought that she might still have feelings for Mack, despite everything, was unbearable.

Anna continued moving the dryer between his scalp to dry the hair from the root. She had stopped talking without realizing it the moment she thought of Mack. 'Youre married now Anna', she tried to remind herself. She should be thinking of only Noah and not Mack. They are over now.

But her heart hasn't been in peace since she saw him. The state she had seen him in wasn't pleasing. What really happened it him, how did Nari get adopted? They had been together, did Nari backstab him?

She wanted to ask Noah to let him go, but she didn't know how to ask. "Are you alright?" She heard her hubby ask and she smiled.

"I am." She lied. Even Noah could see through her lies and it only fueled his anger and jealousy to the highest level.

"I was just thinking of how we met," Anna said moving to the front as she kept drying his hair. She had wanted to ask that before now, but since she didn't have an explanation as to why she kept quiet for so long, she decided to use that to cover up.

It would be an abomination if Noah ever found out she was thinking of Anna man in his presence. Noah has been more than kind to her, she couldn't hurt him now. Little did she know the man before her was nothing more than a devil in disguise.

"How we met?" He asked to see her nod.

"I could demonstrate it to you." He suggested, ignoring how stiff she had gotten at his words. "H... How will you do that?" Anna asked so innocently and with a swift movement, Noah pulled her to sit on his lap.

"What are you doing?" Shocked Anna panicked as she tried to wiggle herself up but he held her still.

"I was drugged and you were cheated on." Noah started his story, turning off the hair dryer as he placed it back on the table. Anna stared at Noah warily, her heart racing so fast that it felt as if it wanted to fall out of her chest.

"I don't know where you were running from and I was trying to dodge from the person in front of me." Noah chuckled as he placed his hands on her thighs. "N... Noah." Anna stuttered running out of breath already.

"Hmm?" He stared at her his gaze lingering on her lips and he made it known he was staring at her lips. She gulped.

"Y... You can tell me the story without me sitting on your legs." She regretted asking him such questions. She would have waited till she remembered everything that happened.

"What use is that? Maybe if I demonstrate it, you might remember how it happened. Don't you want your memory back sweetheart?" He pulled her closer as his hand settled behind her in a firm grip while the other hand rested on her half-exposed thighs. Her body had turned aware of him and everything he was doing to her.

She has made the biggest mistake of her life. Anna didn't know how to escape. She had thought of screaming, but what would people think, especially her aunt if they saw her run away from Noah?

"B... But..."

"Now be a good girl and don't interrupt my story," Noah said.

"I crashed against a large tree trunk thanks to you and my car got damaged." He continued playing with the rim of her night dress and she tried to keep his hands off her. Noah brought his head close to press his lips on her body and she tensed again.

"Every slight movement from that ass of yours will earn you a kiss, understand?" Her face flushed with instant embarrassment. Even if he had seen her before, she didn't remember how so everything still felt so new to her.

Anna who wasn't given a choice nodded. "Good girl." Noah mused.

"Now where were we? Okay. So when the car stopped, I called Lurch and was about to step out of the car when I noticed a knock on my window." He raised his hands to grab her chin and turned her face to his. "We'll need a brief demonstration of what happened when I found you my sweet girl." Noah grinned and she gulped.

"W... What kind of demonstration?" Anna asked.

"I want to kiss you because that night I kissed you too." Her racing her skipped a beat. There was no atom of tease or play on Noah's face as he looked dead serious about his words. Her lips trembled as she stared at his.

Anna gulped as he waited for her response. He was giving her an option to reject it or say no but at the same time he didn't look like he would take no for an answer. She licked her lips to hear him groan.

"You know you owed me a lot before your accident my sweet girl," Noah said a devious demonic smile playing on his lips. This is going to be a fun... long... night...

"Debt?" Anna asked to see him nod. "And I need you to clear your debt." He added.

"What kind of debt?" She asked.

"Can I kiss you now, we'll talk about the debt some other time. Right now, let's finish the story we started. Anna's heart started racing again as she thought of a possible way out of it.

"I... I."

"I'll take that as a yes." He pulled her closer and Anna closed her eyes waiting for it. It's just a mere kiss it's nothing. She tried to tell herself. Noah is her husband, she's only performing her wife's duties.

As Noah pulled her close, he noticed a red bold mark on her chin. He had confused that with her blushing as always, but the mark was shaped like a hand.

Was his wife slapped?

"Who did this to you?" He asked.
