Where is she?
Is she in a hospital? But what could she be doing here? The last thing she recalled was talking to Noah and then the next second she felt so dizzy and then she turned unconscious.
She wanted to move her hands but she noticed a weight on it. When she looked there she saw Noah's figure seated on a chair with his head on the bed. He held her hands protectively in his like she would disappear if he let her go. He has been like this lately, overly protective of her even if he knows she wouldn't leave him anymore.
Anna watched him sleep so soundly and she smiled. He must have been so worried when she passed out. Anna reached for him, her hands touching the strands of hair on his face as she moved it to the side. In that instant his eyes snapped open and his gaze fell on hers.
Noah got up immediately, "You're awake?" He asked and she nodded. "I must have woken you up." She tried to sit but he was quick to stop her. "You should rest some more I'll get you whatever you need." He said pressing his lips on her forehead.
"But I'm fine." Anna protested but Noah didn't gave her a room for more complains. "The doctor has said so himself. You don't have to stress at the early stage, maybe when you're strong enough you can do whatever you want." He tucked her very well in bed arranging the sheets properly.
Anna furrowed her brows at his words wondering what he was talking about. What Early stage was he talking about? Does she have any terminal illness.
She has noticed being so weak lately, she eats more than she should even if she'd tried to stop herself from doing so. "Early stage? What is wrong with me?" She asked.
"Nothing sweetheart." He took her hands in his and pressed his lips on it. "We're going to be parents soon my sweet girl, you need all the rest in the world." Anna mouth hung open as she stared at Noah, her heart racing so fast. She wanted to say something but at the same time the door opened and a nurse stepped in.
"M... Miss Sui, congratulations once again." She smiled at Anna. They were all happy for her because she was a known figure in the public eyes. The treasure of the country. Her eyes quickly shifted from Anna and landed on the grey eyes who watched her. The smile on the woman's face fell.
She couldn't forget how Noah along with his workers, (Paul, Lola and a few intimidating men), forced them to sign an NDA for Anna. He had threatened to destroy them and the hospital if they said a word to anyone.
They had heard stories about this man, but never in their life did they ever think they would witness his craziness in person. 'Such a handsome rude man', she thought to herself.
"Thank you." Anna responded placing her hands on her stomach, she squeezed it softly still unable to grasp that she would soon become a mother. With all that was happening, this is the best thing that has happened to her.
Starting a family with Noah is all she's ever wanted. "For the next two weeks you need to rest. Work less and go out less for the babies safety, maybe after that we can examine you and tell you the next step." The nurse added.
"She will do just that." Noah was the one to speak this time kissing his wife's hands. He would shower her with all of the love and affection he could give for the rest of his life. That's how much he loves her. Anna on the other hands was dying of embarrassment. They've been married for a few months, yet, she still wasn't used to his public affection.
"If you would excuse me." The woman bowed before leaving the room.

Nari woke up the next morning and quickly picked up her phone. The news had been filled with stories about her and Anna from the previous night. She scanned through every headlines and articles, seeing her name mentioned alongside Anna's in various contexts. Although she had been kicked out of the event, she was glad she had attended.
Her return might not be as grand as she wanted it to be. Anna must have stolen the show like always, but she still made an appearance. It wouldn't be long before she steals everything, including her former position as the face of the city. She would return to the Nari everyone loved.
Recalling everything from the previous night, she switched on her phone and to continue from where she left off. But what she saw shocked her. Anna was the only one trending. There was countless headlines about Anna being the face of the new biggest entertainment company in the world tossing her appearance aside like it didn't matter. Nari frowned.
Anna's news has once again surpassed hers making it seem like she hadn't appeared at the event at all last night. Just how long will this continue?
How long will she keep being in the shadow of Anna Sui?
A deep frown settled on her face as she got out of bed and stumbled out of her bedroom. The last time she felt this frustrated, she didn't have a rich family to sponsor and spoil her with whatever she wanted. But right now... She had the Sui's by her side. They would do anything she ask, especially since they're foolishly still angry with Anna.
She could fuel their hate, especially with the stupid Kate and elongate her stay in this mansion. She smiled at her thoughts.
"Good morning miss Nari." Bean greeted his new madam with a bow but she didn't respond. She walked past him like no one had spoken to her. Nari was the opposite of Anna, while Anna treated her maids and workers as family, Nari didn't. She made sure to keep them in their place at all times.
"Do you think this is a good idea father? You saw how hurt she was last night. Whatever lesson you're trying to teach her, I think she has already learnt that by now." Grace said to her father as they ate their breakfast.
Nari quickly stood by the door to eavesdrop on their conversation.
