The teachings from the Oracle combined old wisdom with how to use it in daily life. Eki discovered methods to calm her thoughts during meditation and ways to connect with her innermost self. She learned about the specifics of offerings – understanding why some items are significant and which gods they honour.
Importantly, she got help to learn how to get back her artistic emotions. It was a trip of learning about herself and finding the core of her creativity. Through painting, music, and dance, Eki was able to rediscover a part of herself that she had lost earlier.
Dapo, even if he does not fully get the spiritual side, always stays near Eki. He became her support—like solid ground in her journey that often feels like drifting. His love gave Eki continuous strength, showing they were together on this journey.
As time goes on, Eki starts to notice many changes. She feels closer to the nature around her, finding calmness inside herself and feeling like she is part of the entire universe. The dreams provided by Olorun have become more frequent, vivid and intricate.
The Oracle advised Eki and said, "Path to freedom is not easy," with a very serious voice. "You will meet challenges that test your bravery, wisdom and belief."
Eki nodded, her determination unwavering. She was ready.
On a night when moonlight spreads over our village like magic, I feel calm Eki. She sits under a very old tree, her mind is silent and her heart wide open. When she closes her eyes, it seems like a very strong feeling—linked to things that are too much for me to manage alone.
She gazed at old pictures that showed a world full of peace and creativity. She saw Olorun, who shines like light itself with spirits surrounding him; they all sing together in harmony. After that, she saw the blackness secret society growing bigger, and then later on, people experienced a downfall.
When she looked up, tears were already running down her face. It felt like every problem in the world was placed just on her shoulders. But now, new strength grew within her. She is not only a person who dreams but also someone who brings changes to reality.
Dapo sees her feeling sad and comes close to giving comfort. "You are not alone," he says softly to her.
Eki understood, finding peace with him being there. They look towards the future that hasn't come yet, filled with hope and brave hearts.
The time for the ritual to break the curse was almost here. They were waiting with worry, knowing the danger ahead but ready to go on.
When the night was almost over, Eki felt calm. She felt ready now. The road in front is not easy, but she knows what must do and feels ready for any challenges that come.
