Michael lunged toward Rachel, his face contorted with rage. "You conniving bitch!"

Jack intercepted him instantly, shielding Rachel. Security personnel swarmed in, restraining Michael as police officers entered the hall.

Mia, sensing the tide turning, instantly transformed into a sobbing victim. "He forced me to help him! I was terrified for my life!" She frantically offered to provide additional evidence against Michael, betraying him completely.

"You backstabbing whore!" Michael roared as he was dragged away. "You're nothing without me!"

"You betrayed me first!" Mia shrieked back. "You promised me everything, then threw me aside for her!"

Michael was led away in handcuffs, facing charges of attempted murder, embezzlement, fraud, and conspiracy. Mia received a reduced sentence for her cooperation, but her reputation was irreparably destroyed.

In the aftermath, Rachel and Jack stood together on the beach where he had once rescued her, watching the sunset paint the horizon.

"It's finally over," she said quietly.

Jack took her hand in his. "We didn't just get justice. We found something worth more."

Rachel rested her head against his shoulder. "From business arrangement to this—quite the journey."

Jack gently turned her face toward his, his eyes conveying everything words couldn't express. Their connection transcended the need for speech.
