One day, she spotted a newspaper announcement of Mia's pregnancy. Michael was quoted: "This blessing from heaven fills the void left by my late wife."
Mia flaunted her wedding ring for the cameras: "I'll give Michael the son that Rachel couldn't provide."
Zoe shredded the newspaper with trembling hands. She remembered her three miscarriages, each following Michael and Mia's solicitous "care."
"They'll pay for everything," she whispered, ice in her voice.
Jack handed her a document. "Michael has transferred all your father's company shares to Mia, claiming it was your 'dying wish.'"
Zoe's eyes flashed dangerously. "They deserve each other—and they'll burn together."
