"No, go with him. I'll come with Ahren. Leave now! Wait for me" kissing her forehead, he muttered. Her eyes moistened and she slowly nodded at him before turning and leaving with the young boy who came to them. She turned and looked at Ascian and saw he was looking at her with a small smile on his face.
She smiled at him and wiped her tears before looking away from him and walking away. Her heart was beating fast, he was still the same. Nothing had changed. Even though it's been years, he just still looks like the same Ascian from eighteen years ago. Young and strong. She couldn't believe that he still looks like that but she was just so happy to see him again.
Coming out of the palace, she looked back at the palace again. Both her son and mate were inside of the palace. She prayed to the moon goddess telling them that nothing should happen to them. She didn't want to lose them as soon as she met them after years. She sighed and looked at the boy who was looking at her with shocked eyes. She smiled at him and looked at Atarah who was still unconscious in his arms.
"Luna?" he spoke with a trembling voice. Mirela bit her lower lip and nodded at him with a smile. Her eyes filled with tears, she couldn't believe that finally she came out of this hell after eighteen years. Then he smiled at Mirela and nodded at her as he let out a deep sigh.
"Remember me Luna? I was there when Alpha took you and Ahren to see warriors fighting that ear. That was the first time and last time I saw you" Mirela's heart tightened hearing him. She watched his face for a while and tried to recall that day. Even though she couldn't remember him completely, she remembered there was a boy sitting in a corner and looking at her.
"Were you there, boy , who was sitting alone in the corner?" she asked. A chuckle escaped from him and he nodded at her. Mirela smiled at him and patted his head just like she did it years ago. Seeing him sitting alone, she patted his head before walking out of the hall that day while Ahren and Ascian were watching warriors fighting.
"Let's go Luna, we need to leave here as soon as possible" he muttered as he ran towards the jeep and placed Atarah inside of it. Mirela watched him for a while and sighed before nodding at him. Then he got into the jeep as she hugged Atarah and rested her head on her lap.. Caressing Atarah's hair she looked at the palace where she lived for eighteen years and she closed her eyes. She was leaving it. Finally, her dream came true.
Then he drove the jeep away with Mirela and Atarah. Mirela's heart was a mess, she didn't know what was happening inside, she was just scared even if she knew both Ascian and Ahren were strong. Forcing herself to calm down and think about everything positively, she stared out of the window.
"Don't worry Luna. nothing will happen to them. I can swear that'' hearing the boy's voice, she smiled and nodded at him. She was just happy because he's making her comfortable with words. She sighed and patiently waited. After so much time, she arrived at the place where she always wanted to come and where she loved to live.
Getting down from the jeep, she looked at the house in front of her. It was just the same as before. Nothing had changed, a painful smile appeared on her face as she remembered the days she spent here. The last day she spent here, Ahren was just a little kid. Wiping her tears, she looked at the boy. Then he took Atarah and smiled at her.
Mirela walked towards the house and entered. Countless emotions surged into her mind as she looked at the house. Clutching the dress she was wearing, she walked upstairs. Nothing had changed, everything was the same. She stopped in front of the room she had so many memories with Ascian and waited for a while before turning and looking at Atarah.
"Help me to take her to Ahren's room" he nodded, hearing her and then he walked towards Ahren's room and entered. Mirela followed him and entered Ahren's room. His room was not childish anymore, it was just a room of a matured man. She smiled seeing it, even after years, she still expects him to be the same little boy.
But her heart was aching because she couldn't be there to see the way he grew up. She didn't know how he became like this and how he spent his time in this room. She forced herself not to get hurt by thinking those things. She couldn't be with him but it's okay, Ascian had taken care of him well.
"Luna, she will wake up in a while. I'll take my leave. Please inform me if you need anything" he muttered looking at Mirela, then with a smile, he walked out of the room. Watching him leaving, Mirela looked at Atarah. Then she sighed and walked towards Ahren's dressing room. Entering it, she opened his wardrobe before grabbing a shirt out and coming towards Atarah.
Removing Ascian's jacket. She made Atarah wear Ahren's shirt, then she buttoned the shirt and covered her with the blanket. She watched her innocent sleeping face for a while. And caressed Atarah's face before walking out of the room closing the door behind her. Then she simply walked and entered Ascian's room.
As she entered, she couldn't help but smile seeing that everything was the same. She walked through the room and touched everything. Then she walked into the dressing room and opened the wardrobe. Her heart tightened as soon as she saw the dresses she used to wear were still inside of the wardrobe.
Even after eighteen years, they were still here. Closing her eyes, she slowly sat on the floor as her eyes let out tears. She cried, hugging herself. She missed this, she just missed her home for years. She can't believe the thing happened to her. She was taken away by a vampire while Ascian thought that she was dead.
She missed the way her son grew up, she just missed him and Ascian. It's been eighteen years and almost two decades. How can she just bear this pain? She was old now, and also Ascian. She was not as young as before and she cannot give birth to children anymore. She lost her daughter and she just simply lost so many things.
She cried as much as she could, her eyes were red and her throat was aching because of her sobbing. After so much time, she wiped her tears and got up from the floor. Then she walked out of the dressing room and entered the washroom. She just wanted to wash everything away.
Taking a warm shower, she looked at herself through the mirror. Tears rolled down from her eyes looking at herself and she slowly moved her hand as she placed it against her belly. Her heart tightened remembering the way that bastard aborted her baby. No matter how hard she screamed and cried asking him not to, he just simply did it.
She cried calling Ascian's name. But she knew that it was impossible for him to come. If Ascian was there, something like that would never have happened to her. She lost the chance of becoming a mother to a little girl. If she gave birth to that child, she would have been a young girl already. And just simply the same age as Atarah.
Forcing her thoughts, she walked out of the washroom and changed into a simple dress. She didn't even have a chance to wear all the clothes Ascian bought her. She just spent a few months with him and Ahren.
