If you didn't know what was happening you'd probably think we were PMSing.
Charlotte and I are currently getting ready for a party that the members are throwing for us downstairs.
Carolina says that the party is a celebration for Charlotte and I either being sisters or girlfriends again.
I'm wearing a small red spaghetti strapped dress that's covered by a white cardigan. I paired that with low top white converse and a messy bun.
Charlotte is wearing a white T-shirt that's covered by a black and red flannel. She paired that with ripped black skinny jeans and a ponytail.
"Are you ready?" Charlotte asks me as I walk over to her
When I reach her she grabs my hand and laces our fingers together which makes me smile.
"Yeah" I respond as I take a deep breath.
We slowly walk out of Charlotte's room and down the stairs.
I glance at Charlotte and notice that she looks zoned out, so I let her do her thing while still making sure she doesn't trip on the stairs.
As we enter the kitchen everybody turns their heads to look at us and smile. I smile back politely before letting go of Charlotte's hand and walking over to Carolina.
She smiles as she sees me approaching and hands me a sprite.
"Thanks" I say with a nervous smile and take the can from her hand, I shakily open the can and take a sip of the fizzy liquid.
"Are you okay?" She asks with a worried expression
"Yeah, I'm fine" I say with a head nod
"I've never seen you this nervous before" Kayden comments as he walks up to us
He stops beside Carolina and kisses her cheek before wrapping his arm around her.
"Um- I- When did this happen?" I question curiously as I point my finger between the both of them
"While you and Charlotte were at the hospital" she says and gestures to my sling
I smile as I see Kayden look down at her with a loving expression.
"Wow" I say in shock
I was definitely not expecting this.
I hear someone blow a horn which makes me flinch as I cover my ears.
I look over and notice Collin holding a blow horn.
"If you blow that again, I won't hesitate to make you swallow it" Charlotte says with pure acidity in her tone
Jesus Christ.
I feel bad that Collin is on the other side of that, but at the same time he kind of deserves it for blowing a horn in everyone's ear.
"I have good news everyone" he says as he hold up an envelope
Carolina quickly walks up to Collin and faces us.
"Will Aspen and Charlotte please come to the front of the room" Carolina says in an overly excited tone
She's never this excited.
Did she secretly pour an alcoholic beverage in her soda?
Charlotte and I walk to the front of the room until we're standing in front of them.
"Are you ready?" Collin asks teasingly
"Spit it out already!" I snap with an annoyed tone
I've been snapping a lot lately.
I think I need a massage.
"Charlotte and Aspen, you're not related to each other" Carolina says
My breath gets caught in my throat as my whole body freezes up.
Is what she's saying true or is she joking with us?
"This isn't a joke, Carolina" Charlotte says with a shaky tone, as if she's trying to find out if they're lying or not
Collin opens the letter and hands her the paper from inside.
Charlotte grabs the letter from his hands and slowly unfolds it.
After a couple seconds of watching her scan the paper she looks up at me and nods.
I feel tears fall down my face as I smile. I stand on my tip toes as I wrap my arms tightly around her neck.
She places her head on my shoulder as she grips my thighs and pulls me up.
Thank god!
Thank fucking god!
Fuck, I'm so happy!
"We're not related" Charlotte whispers to me but I'm sure everyone else heard it
"Thank fucking god" I say with a small smile which makes everyone else laugh
Charlotte sets my feet back on the floor and keeps her arms securely wrapped around my waist.
"I love you so much" she says without hesitation which makes me smile harder
"I love you too" I say which makes her smile stupidly too
She goes in to kiss me but I hold my hand out before our lips have a chance to touch.
She pouts at my action which makes me want to give her a hug.
"Later" I mouth to her with a wink which causes her to smirk
"That's not all" Collin suddenly says
Charlotte and I look in his direction with a confused facial expression.
"You are related to someone in this room" He says putting emphasis on the 'are'
"Who?" Charlotte asks in complete confusion
"Me and him" Carolina replies as she points to herself then Collin
No way!
"Really?" Charlotte asks with a childlike smile
They both nod their heads.
"This is awesome, I'm so happy for you guys" I say
"Yeah, so am I" Charlotte replies.
