Chapter 81

Charlotte walks out of the kitchen and into the living room where I'm currently at.
After I over ate during breakfast I decided to come in here to rest on the couch.
The problem?
I'm way too full to fall asleep and I'm laying on my back. Therefore, I cannot get up by myself without hurting my stomach.
"Aspen, What did you do now?!" Charlotte asks with an amused tone as she walks up to me
"It appears that I've fallen and I can't get up," I say as I turn my head to look at her
"Oh, I see" she says slowly as if she doesn't believe me
"Can you please help me?" I ask her with a pout
"Sure, Anything for you, babe" she responds before sliding one arm under my back and one arm under my knees
She lifts me up as if I weigh nothing and makes her way towards the stairs.
"How do you feel?" Charlotte asks seriously as she walks up the steps
"Like I'm carrying a bowling ball in my stomach" I reply bluntly as she gets to the second floor
"Well, that's one way to describe it" she responds as she walks into my room and sets me on my bed
Ohh, bed how I've missed you.
I can't bare being away from you.
I'll never leave you again.
I feel Charlotte lay beside me which makes me smile as I instantly cuddle into her.
"Someone's in a loving mood" Charlotte teases
"Why wouldn't I be?" I question as she gently wraps her arms around my waist, careful not to touch my stomach
"Well for starters, you got mad at me yesterday morning when we were making brownies" she says which makes me glare at her
"That was your fault" I say as she rolls her eyes
"Whatever" she responds before grabbing my remote and putting on Netflix.
