Chapter 106 NO SCHOLARSHIP FOR HER
1745words
Thankfully, Lilian is with me at the moment. Otherwise, what I would have done in a fit of anger. She takes me back to the office, she didn't know what spoils my mood and she didn't even ask, that is one of her habits I like the most she never pushes anything or forced.
She just waits patiently for a person to open up on his own while giving him space.
In the evening Ron shows up with a quite happy face, I wonder why he is so happy when I am boiling here with rage.
"The rings have been selected and so has the dress. Everything is done, I even made an excuse to her about your absence." He narrates proudly and I glare at him angrily, "Who allows her to customize the wedding rings, huh?"
I question furiously and Ron's face turns pale, "I… I didn't know she isn't allowed to select the rings of her choice." He says hurriedly as he looks down guiltily.
"Cancel them right away…" I order him and he looks at me with hesitation, "Miss Swan has already paid for it."
What the hell? Why Ann is being so generous to this girl? She is nothing but a greedy person who is after our money, why can't Ann see this?
"Refund it…" I tell him unbothered and he again gives me a look of hesitation, "Boss, It's not about a refund Miss Swan has like the design and wants to keep it."
F**k, F**k, F**K
I am releasing fire from my nostrils when I hear Ron's words.
"Miss looks like a good woman, Boss. She even cried in the car when I told her that you are not going to join her. She was really looking forward to seeing you." Sensing my anger and loathe towards Miss Will, Ron starts to say in her favor and that made me more furious.
"She has sold herself clearly, so then why act like a true couple marriage here. We are not a couple. If she really needed a wedding she shouldn't have sold herself to my sister so shamefully." I spat with disgust and Ron frowns badly.
I am so much pissed at this thought that how could someone stoop so low and sold herself but I can't do anything it's her choice after all.
I leave the office quite early, today. Ron drives the car as I sit in the back seat still fuming in anger, I don't know why I am so angry with her, Is it because she chooses something without my permission, or is it because I wanted Mona to be the one choosing our wedding rings.

Ann enters the mansion and I greet her politely with a warm hug. "Ann I want to talk about something."
I tell Ann and nodding her head she leads me straight to her floor into her study room.
"Yes, Andrew, what is it?" She asks calmly.
"Ann, this girl has applied for the scholarship." I tell her and she raises her brow in questioning, "Which girl?"
"Tessa Will," I say through gritted teeth.
"What? She is going to pursue her studies?" Ann asks more to herself and frowns badly.
"She wants to study Ann, I don't think she is suitable to become a wife and then carry a child," I tell her reasonably and wait in hope for Ann to agree to my words and she did thankfully.
"Yes, that is right. Her all focus should be on conceiving the child and also if she stays between the crowd that would just make trouble for us." Ann calculates wisely and I pass her a concerned smile. So the wedding is going to get canceled now. Yes.
"Have you met her?" Ann asks out of the blue making me dumbstruck.
"Uhmm No, but I have seen her..." I tell her honestly.
"You didn't go with her to select the dress?" Ann questions sharply and I gulp before replying to her.
"NO."
BOOM
"Andrew..." Her voice comes as scolding and I feel displeased by the fact that Ann is scolding me because of that girl.
Looking at my unhappy face, Ann takes a few deep breaths and then explains, "You have to know her first, she is a very good girl Andrew. At least give her a chance."
Phufffff... I don't expect Ann to be in this girl's favor so much.
"Okay, Ann." I nod my head helplessly and then walk back to my room, pissed and annoyed.
My mobile rings and as I look down my face brightens to see Mona's message, that's my girl.
All the bitterness and annoyance before vanishes as soon as I start talking with Mona, she is my charm, my everything.

I decided to have lunch with Ann, she has been getting weak day by day and I think being around her and feeding her on time will help in making her health better.
I enter the company's building and all the employees start to greet me respectfully. I don't visit the company often since I have handed everything to Ann. I am happy with the small jewel company that gives me peace of mind.
I head straight for Ann's office, the CEO Miss Anna Swan. A smile appears on my face to see my sister at the place she deserves the most.
I walk to the door and her secretary greets me too affectionately, I roll my eyes inwardly, and she immediately leaves her seat to bring something for me or maybe do a touch up for her face that is covered with multiple layers of makeup.
Ignoring her, I head to the office and stop when I hear the voices from inside.
"Madam, please my daughter loves to study. Please don't cancel her scholarship."
"Dylan, you have signed the contract, and I don't care what she wants later. She hands me the kid and then she can do whatever she wants."
"But, Madam..."
"Enough, Dylan. She is not continuing her study after the marriage and also keep some restrictions on her, how could she roam around like this in the city? She is going to become a part of our family and she should respect that."
"Indeed, Madam Boss."
"Good, I'll ask my secretary to prepare a cheque for you."
I hear Ann's voice and the phone starts ringing outside, I turn to look at the empty seat, and sighing, I enter her office.
"Ann, she isn't outside," I inform and Ann looks at me in surprise.
I notice the man he is an old man and by the communication between them, I could tell that he is the father of Tessa Will.
I greet him politely, "Hello."
"Hello, Sir Jack." He greets me back politely and I feel a little stunned by the name he addresses me.
"Andrew is fine," I tell him calmly and he passes a smile of relief but soon holds his breath as his eyes avert from me to Ann.
"I'll wait outside, Madam." He lowers his gaze and informs and then leaves quickly.
"Are you canceling her scholarship?" I ask Ann curiously as soon as the old man leaves the office.
"I already did," Ann answers calmly as she sits back in her seat looking like a great emperor, yeah her aura is strong and intimidating.
For a second, I feel bad for that girl, from the tone of her father it seems like she really wanted to pursue her degree, and if I hadn't informed Ann about her scholarship then she won't be able to know about it at all.
I just look at Ann in silence feeling guilty inside and there her connecting phone rings breaking my trance.
RING... RING... RING...
"Yes, prepare a cheque for Dylan and keep him waiting. Release the cheque after 7. Yes." Ann orders sharply and I look at her blankly.
Huff... Ann seems to be pissed. Now, this old man has to wait for a long time here. I feel pity for him and then soon shrug away all the thoughts as Ann turns to me.
"Why you're here?" She asks, raising her brow in curiosity.
"To have lunch with my beautiful sister," I tell her and her smile widens.
"Let's go, then." I take her hand and we leave the office together. I notice the old man sitting in the waiting area and her secretary passes a seductive smile to me that I ignore completely.
When I drop Ann back at her office, the man was still there waiting, I give him a sympathetic smile because I know that his cheque will be released only after 7. But the thing is why he needs a cheque, huh?

"Find out where Mr. Dylan will go from Ann's office," I order Ron and he looks at me surprised.
"Now?" he gasps and I nod my head, "Yes, right now," I say in a clipped voice, and nodding his head, he quickly walks out of my office.
I get busy with my work and it gets quite late when Ron finally returns to pick me up. Ron stops the car and I frown badly, a hospital? Mr. Dylan has submitted the cheque to the hospital?
I look at him for the explanation and he starts to explain, "Miss Will's brother is diagnosed with a kidney tumor, he is only 10 years old and very much weak. Miss Swan is providing the best medical service for him and in return, she will grant her wish of the child."
What? It seems like a huge mountain has been dropped on my shoulders, I have gone dumbstruck for a while and then leave the car. Okay, so this is a big piece of information, she needs money and that is why she is doing this.
How about I offer her more money and ask her to quit this marriage. I thought and then walk inside the mansion. It is utterly quiet which means Ann has gone to sleep.
I think I should talk about money with this girl, I don't know if this woman is really in need or just conning my sister.
I take out a cigarette and light it up, feeling anxious and tense.
I don't want to be the first one to approach her but it's my need, I have to meet her and convince her to back out from this marriage.
But would she agree?
