Chapter 110

"I am so excited!" Elaine said cheerfully while jumping like a grasshopper.
She happily wraps her hand around me as we walked down the main hall. We're attracting attention now because of her loud voice.
Elaine's so happy because God Hlaford gave us his blessing. Gab and her can come with us in the outside world and help us do the secret mission. She have always wanted to come with us and help. We all know her for being the explorer type who likes actions and challenges in her life.
I turned my head to look at Damon who's currently following us like a guard. Beside him is the silent parsen of Elaine, Gab.
I know that he's still getting jealous even if Elaine is a girl and is our close friend, but he's holding it. He's always been the jealous type.
"Love you," I mouthed to him. That cute gesture of mine put a sweet smile on his face.
"I love you more," he whispered back.

Damon ended up snatching me from Elaine. His hands are tightly wrapped around my waist as we eat our dinner. Like what we always do, we joined two tables to eat together.
"Do we need anything in the mission?" Gab asked while feeding Elaine.
Yeah, they're sweet as fuck.
"Nothing really. Just keep a low profile. We will not be there to create war. Our main mission is to distract them from the scandal me and Golden made," Damon replied in a serious voice. I flinched when he puts a spoonful of food on my face. I gave him a questioning look.
"W—What?" I asked.
He formed his eyes in a thin line. "Eat it," he said in a flat voice. I parted my lips and he slide it inside my small mouth. A smile curved into my lips as soon as he pulled himself away from me. He must have noticed me staring at Gab and Elaine.
He's so silly. I'm not jealous of their sweetness. He didn't have to do that.
But that made me blush.
"So, what's the actual plan? How do we distract these so-called-smart humans?" he asked again.
Damon and I glanced at each other. We already planned the entire thing last night. I smiled when he prompted me to explain it to them. "Well, these so-called-smart humans you're saying are overly addicted to popular celebrities," I started.
The two of them gave me a confused look. "What's a celebrity?" they asked in chorus. I blew a short sigh. I almost forgot that they've never been to the outside world.
"Celebrities are known people in the outside world. They're idolized by many. It usually depends on what they excel on the most, but our main victim is famous for being an actor," I told them. Gab arched his brows curiously.
"I think I read that word 'actress' before when I was studying in the library. They make scripted scenes on a human invention called television and is watched by many people," he said while nodding his head slowly. Elaine did the same.
Okay, that's a good. At least, they have a background on what our victim does.
"So what do we do to her?" Elaine asked. I glanced at her before opening my mouth to speak.
"We're going to spill her secrets using Gab's gift," I said in a serious voice. Both of their eyes grew big. "We were thinking on investigating her secret ourselves, but since Gab is already here with us, it will make things much easier."
I can already see the disapproval in his face. He promised to not read others minds without their permission. Gab is a man of his words and he will never twist it.
"B—But that's not right! Why do we even have to do that to her?" he asked hysterically. There's a hint of desperation in his voice and I can't help, but get worried. What if he don't agree to the plan we spent so much time planning last night?
"Gladys Muños is a wealthy celebrity. She's done numerous movies and TV shows. A lot of people see her as a perfect individual, but behind her beautiful face is a hiding evil criminal," Damon intruded. His words caught the couple's attention.
Gab gazed at him. His brows are so furrowed in so much confusedment. "W—What do you mean?" he asked. Damon lifted his head slowly. His blonde hair is hiding his eyes. It makes him look really cool.
"I met her once in the bar where Golden used to work. I saw her raping naive guys. She tried to target me, but I rejected her," he confessed. My heart clenched again when I suddenly remembered his story that night.
I can't believe a criminal like her is drinking in the bar where I used to worked at.
"W—What?" Elaine stuttered.
I nodded my hear as an agreement. "What he's saying is true. I witnessed her being yelled by a customer, but she immediately got away because she's a woman and is famous enough to went through loop holes," I added. Gab and Elaine glanced at us simultaneously with big round eyes.
We must have shocked them.
"It's okay if you don't like the plan. Golden and I can do it ourselves whole you back us up on the club—" Elaine cut him off.
"NO!" she blurted and raised her hand to stop Damon from speaking anything else. "I fully agree with what you just said. Female rapists like her deserve to be punished!" She slammed her closed fist on the table.
"Hey! careful."
I curved my lips into a smile when I saw Gab caressing her reddened hand. That's sweet.
"Stop staring at them like you're jealous about everything," Damon scoffed beside me. I turned my head to look at him. He's pouting like a kid. "You're making me feel like my actions are not enough to make you satisfied and happy."
I chuckled. "I'm not jealous, boy!" I replied jokingly and pinched his pointy nose. He rolled his eyes.
"How do we do it though?"
I landed my eyes back on them. "Damon's enhanced senses heard her talking about a specific video record that she has after raping a victim. We believe that she keeps it on her phone or in the devices she owns. Gab can help us by reading her mind," I answered. Gab raised his brows. "We can disclosed her crimes by giving those video footages to the media."
I heaved a deep sigh when they look at me confusedly again. Of course, they do not know what media means.
"They're people who produced news and reports online and on paper. They're like Chizosas to us," Damon explained. They nodded their heads like Children.
"I got it, but when should we leave?" Gab asked. I glanced at Damon who seemed to be thinking too.
God Hlaford gave us the spell to chant in able to open the portal. "We'll leave tomorrow morning. It will be midnight there by that time. I'll tell you the full plan once we're there already. Have a peaceful sleep you two," Damon said.

We're back to our rooms. I still can't believe that Gab and Elaine are coming with us. This is going to be so fun.
I'm in the process of packing some of the stuffs that we're allowed to bring including human money. These cash will be a big help because we're not allowed to use our powers there and some magic that only exist in Vortaxia.
"I really hope they don't do anything funny once we got there," he said in a tired voice. I glanced at him. His hand is on his face and is using it to avoid the brightness of the light.
"They won't. They promised, remember?" I told him.
"Yeah, right."
I cleared my voice. "But are you sure we can do that to Gladys Muñoz? That will ruin not just her career, but also her life. Are you sure about giving her a lesson?" I asked.
My lips parted when I saw a steam coming out of his body. He's like that when he's mad. Not at me though. He's mad whenever he remember that woman who raped naive guys in our bar.
"We're just helping the authorities. Those poor men need justice too like women."
I pursed my lips and remained silent. He's right.
