Chapter 100

We had so much fun during breakfast. Elaine and Gab were bickering about who's better in making the perfect British accent.
"I'm so full like literally. Should we go and have fun outside for a moment?" Elaine suggested. I glanced at her and back to the food I'm eating.
A surprising good news came up while we were eating earlier. The God of Spheria finally gain back his consciousness. They've verified that he's indeed God Hlaford. I'm so happy that he's back. I'm really am.
But this is just the beginning. We still need to find the real culprit. Who's behind all these?
"Golden?"
As for Aluncina and Miss Puff. They're still nowhere to be found. There were no leads nor traces of their disappearance. I still haven't reviewed Damon's claims, but I trust him. If he says that she's the one then she is.
But where is Aluncina?
"Golden!" Elaine said in a loud voice. I snapped out of my thoughts and look at her. She's a wearing a huge frown on her face. I arched my brows when I saw the three of them looking at me.
"W—What?" I asked. She heaved a sigh and look at Gab.
"Tell me what's on her mind," she said jokingly. I immediately closed my eyes to prevent Gab from reading my thoughts. "Hahaha! Stop being a tree in there, Golden. We're talking here about something. Are you with us?" she asked.
I opened my eyes and smiled.
"Yeah. I'm sorry. Just spacing out because of what happened yesterday," I replied. My eyes landed on my knee when I felt Damon's hand tapping me. I looked at him and he's wearing a worried smile.
"I'm fine," I mouthed.
The chat continues. I'm joining them now unlike earlier. I've been laughing my ass out because of Elaine's brutality towards her parsen. They're such a mood.
"So, do we go outside and play?" Elaine asked in a cheerful manner. I looked at Damon and back to her. She looks excited already, so I'm in.
"Damon and I are in," I answered. She waved her hands happily. My eyes landed on Gab. He doesn't like going outside.
"Will you come?" I asked him. Elaine glanced at him and smirked.
"As if he has a choice." She laughed.
We let the ivaws clean the table first before we go out and find a spot for a little game. "Okay, you and Damon will stay there, alright? The goal here is to make us distracted while doing are gifts," she instructed. I crossed my arms and watch her control the plants with her hands while Gab is controlling the mind of a butterfly.
I thought Gab can only control humans. I didn't know his gift is multiple. Elaine looked at me. "I'm waiting to get distracted, Golden!" she said sarcastically. I chuckled and walked to her.
Damon didn't do anything and just stand on the side like a tree. Elaine calls this a game, but this is way too boring for us. I don't even have a gift. How will I play this game?
I bring my hands to her waist and start tickling her like crazy. She immediately got distracted and let go the plants.
"Hahahahaha! S—Stop! Hahahaha!" she laughed hysterically. I chuckled when she fell on her knees. I didn't let go of her and just kept on tickling her. This is what she wanted anyway.
"You're really just going to stand there and watch me?" Gab said to Damon. He remained silent and pretended like he didn't hear anyone. I looked at Damon and he'd just looking far away.
"S—Stop! Golden! Hahahahaha!" she laughed. I smiled and finally let go of her. Elaine immediately hide behind her boyfriend's back. "Gawd! She's a good tickler. I almost pee myself while laughing!" I chuckled softly.
"You two are so silent though," Gab commented and looked at us. I gave him a doubting look. Is he reading our minds? "I am not reading your mind, but I know that expression so well. Don't worry I'm not invading your privacy."
I heaved a deep sigh and went beside Damon. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel so heavy today. I should be happy, right? God Hlaford is well and healthy.
Maybe because Aluncina disappeared again. I lost her for the third time around.
The game that Elaine introduced to us was a fail, but it was able to help us digest everything we ate. There's just so much food inside me right now, I can feel it growling.
Damon and I went back to out chamber. He's just chilling on the balcony with a cup of black coffee. I've been silent too.
"Seems gloomy, right?" I broke the silence and leaned on his shoulder. His breathing sounds send chills down my spine. I've always admire the way he exhales like an exhausted you g man all the time.
I find it sexy.
"This is just the beginning, but it already feels like we're about to end," he said out of the blue. I squeezed my eyes shut and sighed. I don't even want to talk about it. It's too depressing and sad.
"What if the real culprit is someone we knew and trusted?" I asked. He stopped tapping the glass and glanced at me. "I'm just curious. What will you do? Getting betrayed is the most painful thing possible that can happen to everyone."
I didn't have to look at him. My senses can feel him clenching his haw. It is not happening yet, but he's already mad.
"I don't know what I'll do. I might get too upset and do something unexpected. Something bad or worse," he growled. My lips pursed. If I know someone who doesn't like getting played and betrayed that's Damon.
He hates liars so much. So much that he can literally throw me out once I lie to him for something bad.
I squeezed his big arms and smiled. "Why are you getting so worked up. I'm just asking. It's not like it's happening to you already."
My heart flutters when I felt a warm touch on my head. He combed my hair using his fingers. It makes me sleepy.
"Did you hear anything about the Conyans?" I asked while my eyes are closed. He raised his brows and looked at the beautiful view in front of us.
"Nothing was left, baby. There are no leads nor clues yet. Conyans are doing their best. Miss Puff is just too meticulous about her crimes," he replied. My brows furrowed. I don't really think so.
We were able to find out that she's the real culprit because of her impulsive actions towards God Diante. She knows that she'll get recorded being his last visit, but she still continue.
W—Wait.
She knew? So, why would she bother doing all that? The stain of her clothes. Her brother on Wizarnia. Her rare gift. Are those fruits of her impulsive actions? Why didn't she put any effort on attacking her victims? Why is everything falling into places so successfully?
This is weird.
"Thinking about something?" he asked. I snapped out of my thoughts and lifted my head to look at him. His eyes are still on the beautiful view, but I'm here watching a different view. It's beautiful too.
I'm watching him.
"How many girls have you dated before me?" I asked. His eyes grew big from my question. He looked like he's not expecting it. "A lot, no?" I taunted.
He rolled his eyes. "Dragons are loyals," he replied. I pouted my lips.
"So, you haven't had girlfriends nor flings before me?" I asked. He nodded his head wholeheartedly. I smiled sweetly at him.
"So, you were a virgin?" I asked. His cheeks turned pink. I chuckled when he didn't answer.
He's obviously was.
