Golden's POV

"Blessed."

And that one word changed my whole life.

"Hahhhh!!" Selda screamed and ran to me. I hold my sword firmly. Me and Damon came up with a few positions but I don't really think if we're fast enough to perform those.

"Arghh!" she snarled when I blocked her attack with my hand and kick her on the knee causing her to land on the ground.

Unlike me, they do not have swords and gears. So the attack I gave her is raw and I know that she felt the pain.

I glanced to my side to see Damon and Draco fighting in their dragon forms already. I can see Damon's determination to win this battle but it so obvious that Draco's better than him. Aside from the fact that he has a kind, a flame dragon, he is also well trained.

I immediately went back to look at Selda when her peripheral sight of me disappeared. My eyes widened when I didn't saw her anywhere.

"Ahh!" I screamed when she locked her arms in my neck. She's so fast!

"You think you'll make it out alive little princess?" she asked like a devil. I strangled so hard and even pinch her arms harshly just to get rid of it but it didn't work. "Think again little princess."

My eyes grew big when she lifted me into thin air and bash me to the other side of the battlefield, hitting the props.

The pain immediately crosses my back as I try to move. "Fuck," I murmured. I pulled myself up to see Selda smirking like a proud evil dragon ready to kill me.

I glanced to see Dragunus' reaction but he's nowhere to be found. What the?

"Looking for someone to stop this battle princess?" she taunted. I looked at her confusedly. What the hell is she talking about? "No one will. Dragunus has been called out to buy us time and kill you two."

What?

My grip in the sword tightened.

"This is an order from the Wizarnia Kingdom," she confessed and smirked. My heart jumped. W—Wizarnia?

"I am no Dragonian princess. I am a Wizardus!" she yelled and run to me. I immediately evaded her attack and run to Damon. We have to get out of here!

"Damon!" I screamed on the top of my lungs.

The white dragon looked at me. His scales are all burnt already . My poor baby.

"This is a trap! They will kill us!" I screamed. I saw the confusion that crosses his green emerald eyes. I groaned loudly when I felt Selda's hand on me. I can feel her nails pricking through my flesh.

"Ahhhh!" I screamed loudly. She lifted me into thin air and was about to bash me again when I scratch her face.

"Argh!" she growled.

I landed on the ground harshly. I didn't waste anytime and trip her legs by pulling it and she landed on her back harshly.

"Grghh!"

I know who owns that loud dragon growls. I glanced at Damon and my eyes widened when I see him being pulled away from the clouds. Draco's biting his neck and he's trying to get him on top to make him land on the ground harshly.

No! No!

"Damon!" I screamed frustratingly. He looked at me but couldn't do anything. His wings are bleeding. Oh my gosh!

"Harghh!"

"Aghh!"

I snarled when I felt Selda's hand on my neck. She squeezed me there so hard that I couldn't breathe. "Letmpp mehmmp gohmpp!" I strangled. She lifted me up so easily and carried me like a dead potato.

"You think this is all a joke," she growls. Her eyes are now bloody red and her fangs are showing. Her body's steaming uncontrollably and I can feel the heat of her hand choking me. "You will die in my hands and it would be an honor."

My eyes turned white when she choked me harder.

I was about to attack her again with my other hand holding the sword but she immediately caught it and twisted my arm.

"Arghh!" I groaned in between my short breaths.

I will really die in this state!

"You were provoking. And now you look helpless."

Fuck shut up!

"Look at your weak parsen!"

She bashed me on the ground and I never coughed so hard my whole life. I looked at Damon and my eyes widened when I saw him falling into the thin air like a glowing shooting star.

"Oh my gosh."

I watched in horror as he made a huge hole in the ground.

"Damon!"

I was about to run to him when Selda caught a handful of my hair. I cried loudly. Draco's coming to him. He's going to kill Damon! No! This is not right! This is not okay!

I tried to ask for help in the audience but they were all just looking at us like they're watching rats get killed by snakes.

They're all heartless!

My eyes widened when I saw Draco's eyes. No! He's going to petrify Damon!

I immediately withdraw myself from Selda using my remaining strength and kick her on the face. I ran to Damon quickly.

Each step I take is worth the endless moments I had with him. There's no freaking way I'll let him die in front of me.

I didn't hesitate to throw myself to cover him when Draco let go of his mana.

My body shakes as I received the whole petrificus in my body. I can feel its powers crawling into me. My heart started to beat slowly and my limbs starts to get weak and hard.

My eyes turned white and last thing I saw was Draco smirking like he had won the lottery.

"Golden!" an extremely loud and dangerous screaming rang my ears but I wasn't able to look at him because my body feels hard already. I let myself fall into the cold ground and just accept my faith that I just have died from saving my loving parsen.

Selda's right. She's going to kill us in here. This is no friendly battle. This was a trap. All of it. The reason why we came here is to join the batailen but the Wizarnia took it as an opportunity to kill us.

That's why I feel bad about coming in here. Because this is ought to happen.

I saw Damon in his normal form running to me but I couldn't feel his warmth anymore. I can't hear him. I felt numb in my whole body.

I am petrified.

"No! Golden please! Wake up!" he mouthed. I just look at him dead. The ringing in my ears won't stop. This is not happening.

I'm not actually dead, right? I can't be dead. That's just too harsh. That's just too fast. This is just too fast.

This is just not acceptable. This is not happening. Someone please tell me that this is not happening.

I am not dead...

I can't be dead.
