I started my day like usual. I made a sandwich again and went outside to look for her. I saw her at her usual place. I walked towards the curb and she smiled when she saw me.
"Good morning!" I greeted and gave her the sandwich. She gladly accepted it. Her wrinkled cheeks rises when she tasted the seasoned food.
I scanned her clothing and I smiled when I noticed that she's wearing the dress I gave her last week. She didn't want to wear it but I kind of persuaded her. I'm glad it worked. It looks good on her.
"Are you leaving?" she asked and I nodded.
"Yeah. But I'll stay for a few minutes more before I go to work," I told her. She weakly smiled and shook her head.
"I mean to Vortaxia," she said. My smile faded and my eyes doubled in size. How did she know about that?
"My name is Aluncina. Your parents are my lords," she mumbled.
I was right. She was referring to me when she told me her story. She was the one who brought me here. She saved me from death. Now it all make sense.
"You have a huge responsibility in our World. The future of Vortaxia lies on your hand."
Those are the last words she said before I find myself walking towards the club. I didn't even realized that I've left already.
I went inside the club and Travis came running towards me.
"You're late," he said.
I lifted my head and looked at him. I've never been late to work. This is the first and possibly the last time. I smiled at him sheepishly.
The day ended pretty quick and I think it's because all I did was think about what Aluncina have told me. I have a huge responsibility in our World?
I didn't see Damon at the club and that gave relief to Travis. He must have thought that Damon was my stalker.
When my shift ended. I immediately changed into my casual clothes and go home. It was still pretty early and I've decided to pack some of my stuffs.
I feel anxious but I also feel excited. Am I dreaming? Is this what I get for watching too much fantasy movies? Oh I love this dream.
I cooked my dinner at 9 p.m. and I've never waited for someone to come in my twenty years of existence. I lingered at my window and watched the people walking passed by our house.
It's 10 p.m.
I scanned my room wondering if this is really going to be the last time I'll see it.
It's 11 p.m.
I left a note in my nightstand for them to read if this dream happens to be true. I walked outside my house and there I saw him standing outside our gate waiting for me.
It wasn't a dream after all.
—
"H-Hey..." I awkwardly waved my hand at him. He sexily laughs and nodded.
What a gorgeous creature.
"It's almost time," he told me. I looked at him as he started walking inside my house. Aren't we supposed to take a bus or something that flies?
I followed him as he opens our entry door. My eyes widened when I saw Tanya in the living room with her new boyfriend. Tanya looked at Damon with an astounded expression.
"Woah! You little bitch," she exclaims, earning an awry face from me . My eyes doubled in size because of what she called me.
She isn't really cursing me. She's just a little surprised. "I never thought your first guy would be this hot!" She seductively bit his lower lip while checking Damon out from heat to foot. I could see her boyfriend's head shaking from right to left simultaneously as she looked at Damon with amazement.
Damon looked at me, possibly surprised that I live with this kind of roommate.
"S-She's just surprised," I whispered to him, trying to loosen up the awkward atmosphere. His lips parted and I winced when Tanya came running towards us.
"Hey blonde. What's your name?" she asked. Damon diverted his eyes to her when she clings her hand to his arm. I could feel Damon's uncomfortableness and so I've think of a way to escape.
"Am I little too friendly?" She laughs seductively and touches his chest making me feel jealous.
I looked at her huffing boyfriend and prompted him to distract her friendly girlfriend. He gave me an okay sign and he walked towards Tanya and grabbed her waist.
"I feel hungry, Babe," he says and planted small kisses on her neck. I tried to stop myself from releasing a sour expression but I couldn't help it.
I awkwardly looked at Damon and his expression is still blank. I wasn't actually expecting him to distract her that way. I didn't waste my chance and grabbed Damon to my room.
I made sure to lock the door. Now they won't be able to interrupt us. I heave a sigh and turned to look at him. My brows raised when I noticed that his lips were formed into a smirk. He's giving me a double meaning look and when I realized what I did, I immediately raised my hand and shake my head.
"I-It's not what you think," I told him, trying to defend myself but I looked more defensive. He gave me a small smirk.
"So what do we do?" I tried to change the topic. He looked around my room and his eyes locked on to my closet. Does he want to change or something?
"That's our entrance," he said shortly. I scowled at him. What does he mean? I looked at the closet I've found abandoned on the curb.
That's our entrance?
I don't even think we can fit there. Why does this seem familiar to me? This is so weird. Me and my suitcase will not fit in that closet and that is for sure. Swear to whoever I can swear right now.
