Early in the morning, Ramona arrives at Nick's mansion in a hurry. The morning air was still cold, but Ramona didn't care about it. As soon as he entered, he was surprised by the scene in the living room. Bottles of alcohol were scattered on the table, and Nick was lying on the couch in a mess. His hair was tangled, his tie was loose, and his face looked tired.

"I'm sorry, miss. You got drunk last night after coming home from work," said a bodyguard who appeared from behind the door, his voice low and respectful.

Ramona just nodded softly, looking at Nick with a worried look. "Please buy me vegetables. I'll make him a bowl of soup," he said as he began to clean the bottles of alcohol from the table. His hands deftly gathered everything into a garbage bag.

The guard nodded without saying much, immediately rushed away to buy the necessary materials. Meanwhile, Ramona headed straight to the kitchen, opening the cupboards to find what she needed. With skillful movements, he began to prepare the pengar soup, hoping that the food would help Nick feel better. The fragrant scent of the soup stew began to waft throughout the kitchen, providing a warm atmosphere in the middle of the mansion that had previously felt cold and empty.

When the soup is cooked, Ramona takes a deep breath. He then called the bodyguard to help him move Nick to the room. "Help me lift it. We take him to the room so he can be cleaned," Ramona said as she rolled up her sleeves.

Carefully, the two of them lifted Nick off the couch, who was just muttering softly in his sleep, and then led him to the room. Upon arrival, Ramona said calmly, "I'll take care of it. Thank you."

The bodyguard held back a smile, noticing Ramona's attention to Nick, and nodded before leaving the two of them in the room. After the bodyguard left, Ramona sat on the edge of the bed, staring at Nick who was still asleep.

During the day, Nick wakes up with a body that feels very comfortable. He wriggled long on the bed, slowly opening his eyes and scanning the surroundings to gather his consciousness. The room felt so familiar, but Nick immediately felt confused. He frowned, trying to remember. "How did I get to this room?" he muttered in a hoarse voice.

Her gaze caught a bowl of soup and a glass of honey neatly arranged on the table next to her bed. Nick stared at the objects in amazement, then slowly got up from the bed. He walked over to the table, but his curiosity was greater than the urge to eat the soup. Who brought him to the room? Who cooked this soup?

Nick immediately walked out of the room, still dressed the night before, looking for someone who might be able to answer his question. He checked the kitchen, but there was no one there. With an increasingly unsettling feeling, Nick rushed out of the room and met his bodyguard.

"Was Ramona here earlier?" asked Nick in an urgent tone, his expression full of anxiety.

The guard nodded slowly. "Yes, sir. Mrs. Ramona came this morning. He cooks for you and takes care of you after you get drunk overnight."

Nick felt a little relieved, but his confusion hadn't gone away yet. "Then, where is he now?" he asked again, his voice sounding annoyed.

The bodyguard lowered, looking a little hesitant before answering. "Earlier he looked fine, sir. But suddenly, Miss Ramona came out of the mansion with tears in her eyes. He immediately left by taxi. We calculate... You and Miss are fighting, so we don't dare to interfere."

Nick glanced at him, his expression changing drastically. "Crying?" he asked incredulously, his voice hoarse with surprise.

The bodyguard just nodded, not daring to look into Nick's eyes. Emotions immediately enveloped Nick. He turned into the mansion with a hurried step, his hand grabbing his phone. Quickly, he called Ramona's number, but there was no answer. Many times he tried, but the result remained the same.

"Find out where he is!" Nick commanded his bodyguard in a sharp tone, as he grabbed his car keys. "I'm going to the Hunter mansion to pick him up. Immediately let me know if you have any news!"

The bodyguard nodded and immediately moved quickly. Nick darted out in his car, his heart overwhelmed with deep worry. What has happened? Why is Ramona crying? His mind was full of unanswered questions. However, shortly after he was on the road, his cell phone rang. His bodyguard called with important news.

"Sir, we found Miss Ramona's whereabouts. He was at the airport."

Nick was silent for a moment, gripping the steering wheel tightly. "At the airport?" he repeated in a low but sharp tone.

"Yes, sir. We saw it coming into the departure terminal."

Without thinking, Nick immediately turned his car, heading to the airport as fast as possible. He didn't care about traffic or regulations, the one thing he had on his mind was to find Ramona and find out the reason behind the tears.

As soon as he arrived at the airport, Nick immediately ran back and forth with a hunting breath, his eyes wild looking for Ramona's figure. He didn't care about the surprised looks of the people around him. His mind was only focused on finding Ramona.

In the waiting room, Nick's gaze finally caught the figure of Ramona who was sitting pensively with a ticket in her hand. Ramona's face looked gloomy, her gaze blank towards the floor. Without hesitation, Nick ran towards her.

"Ramona!" he called out with a deep breath.

Ramona, who heard his voice, immediately stood up from the chair, as if she wanted to leave. However, Nick swiftly blocked his wrist, preventing him from going any further.

"Ramona, wait!" she said in panic.

Without warning, Ramona threw a hard slap on Nick's cheek. Ramona's eyes looked teary, and her tears began to break. Nick was shocked and looked at her in confusion.

"What's wrong? Why are you slapping me?" he asked, his voice sounding confused and full of frustration.

Ramona sobbed, her chest rising and falling holding back emotions. "Why are you doing this?" he said in a trembling voice. "If you don't believe me, don't touch my mother! You can order me to do anything to prove my loyalty to you. But why do you have to bring my mother into this matter? If something happens to my mother, I will never forgive you!" shouted Ramona in a hoarse voice, her tears starting to break.

Nick was even more confused. He frowned, trying to understand Ramona's intentions. "Wait, what do you mean? Who touched your mother?" he asked in confusion.

Ramona squinted her eyes, then violently pushed Nick's chest. "Weren't you the one who ordered Sevano to take my mother out of the hospital because you were suspicious of me?" his voice rose, full of anger. "Where did you take my mother? Let go of my mother, or I'll kill you myself!" shouted Ramona in frustration, her tears streaming down her face.

Nick finally began to understand the crux of the matter. His jaw tightened, trying to dampen his emotions that were slowly rising. "Listen, Ramona..." he said as he approached, his hands gently holding Ramona's shoulders. "I swear, it's not me. I never told Sevano to do that. I've even asked Sevano to let go of your mother!" explained Nick, his voice sounding sincere.

However, Ramona brushed away Nick's hand rudely. "Then where is my mother now?" he shouted, his eyes full of frustration. "The hospital contacted me, telling me that my mother had been taken away by a group of bodyguards!" he added in a trembling voice.

Nick felt his anger peak. He clenched his fists tightly, trying to suppress the urge to beat Sevano immediately. However, for now, he had to calm Ramona. "Okay, I'll look for your mother," he said in a stern tone. "But before that, let's go home first. We'll settle this together," he persuaded softly.

However, before Nick could grab Ramona's hand, the girl's body suddenly staggered. Her face was pale, her eyes were closed, and she fell unconscious right into Nick's arms.

"Ramona!" exclaimed Nick in a panicky tone, his body stiffening for a moment before he finally swore softly. Carefully, he lifted Ramona's body into his arms, anxiety hitting his chest like a huge wave. Without wasting any time, Nick ran towards his car.

"Fuck all this!" he swore again as he started the engine and drove off. He takes Ramona to the hospital as quickly as possible, while his mind is filled with deep guilt and worry.

Nick paced back and forth in front of the Emergency Unit room, his face filled with anxiety that he couldn't hide. His steps were hurried, he occasionally stomped his feet, feeling that time was moving so slowly. It had been a long time since the doctor examined Ramona, but the door to the emergency room had not opened. Anxiety enveloped him even more.

Finally, the sound of the door opening made Nick stop on the spot. A doctor stepped out with a tired but calm face. Nick immediately approached with a panicked expression. "How is my future wife, Doc?" he asked in an anxious tone.

The doctor sighed long before replying, "Please take care of your future wife's health. He was too tired, both physically and emotionally. He needs a lot of rest. Don't let him get too emotional so that his blood pressure stabilizes, and the shock doesn't recur."

Nick nodded quickly, absorbing the doctor's every word. "Okay, Doc. I'll make sure he rests," he replied without hesitation, his voice filled with determination.

After the doctor left, Nick opened the door slowly and stepped into the room. On the hospital bed, Ramona was lying with her back to him, her body looking small and fragile behind the blanket. Nick swallowed saliva, his chest feeling tight at the sight of the woman he cared about so much in such a condition.

With a slow step, Nick sat down on the chair beside the bed. His voice sounded soft, almost trembling. "I'm sorry," he said sincerely. "I'm really sorry. I'll look for Sevano and find your mother. But I want to be honest with you, Ramona. Really, it wasn't me who did it. I never ordered my servant to do anything to your mother. Please, trust me," he continued, trying to convince Ramona.

However, Ramona remained silent, her body not moving in the slightest, as if she didn't want to respond. A long silence enveloped the room, making Nick feel even more guilty.

Finally, Ramona's hoarse and gentle voice broke the silence. "Then prove my words," he said without turning his head. "If you really didn't do anything to my mother, prove it. I don't know where you guys took my mother. I can't find it..." Her voice trembled, loaded with frustration and sadness.

Nick stood up from his chair with a determined look. "Good," he said steadily. "I'll prove to you if I'm indeed innocent. I'll definitely find your mother," he continued, his voice filled with conviction.

Without waiting for a reply from Ramona, Nick immediately walked out of the room. The steps are fast and purposeful. In his heart, he swore that he would seek out Sevano and uncover the truth, no matter what happened. It's not just about Ramona and her beliefs—it's about maintaining her own honor.

Nick arrives at Sevano's office with a heavy step full of restrained anger. He kicked the door of the Sevano room hard, making the door leaf open wide until it hit the wall. The scene in front of him made his blood boil even more—Sevano and Jeseline were making out on the couch. A startled Jeseline immediately screamed a little, while Sevano with a flabbergasted face muttered, "Nick?"

However, Nick didn't give Sevano a chance to say more. He immediately threw a hard punch to Sevano's jaw, knocking the man to the floor. Jeseline screamed in panic and retreated in fear. Sevano grimaced, rubbing the corners of his lips that began to bleed.

"Where are you hiding Ramona's mother?!" Nick snarled in a loud and angry voice, making Sevano wince, while Jeseline looked confused.

Jeseline opened her mouth, about to answer something, but Nick pulled out a gun from behind her jacket and pointed it at her. "Shut up, bitch! Don't interfere with our affairs!" he yelled coldly. Jeseline fell silent with eyes wide in fear, while Sevano, who now looked increasingly angry, stood up and quickly pushed Nick's hand away from Jeseline's direction.

"What do you mean, Nick?" asked Sevano in a confused tone, though his anger was also starting to pile up. However, Nick had no intention of giving an explanation. Roughly, he pushed Sevano to sit on the sofa. The gun that was aimed at Jeseline has now moved to Sevano's forehead. Nick lowered his head until their faces were almost aligned, his eyes staring like a knife ready to pierce.

"I asked once again, Sevano. Where's Ramona's mother?!" shouted Nick, his tone so loud that it echoed through the room. Jeseline held her mouth, frightened, while Sevano, who was panicked, shouted back, "I really don't know!"

Nick squinted, his facial expression full of anger and disappointment. "You still don't want to tell me?!" he growled, pressing the muzzle of the gun further against Sevano's forehead.

Sevano sighed roughly, his jaw clenched, trying to hold back the rising anger. "Are you really doing all this just to defend Ramona?!" he yelled in a sarcastic tone.

Nick didn't care about that question. He pressed his gun further on Sevano's forehead. "Answer my question, and don't ask anything that isn't your business!" he bluffed, showing his dominance and seriousness even more.

Sevano grabbed Nick's hand that held his neck tightly. He shouted back, "Really, it wasn't me who did it! I don't know anything!"

Nick is increasingly convinced that Sevano is lying. His eyes heated up as he remembered the previous incident. He recalled how surprised he was when Sevano said that he had sent bodyguards to look for Ramona's mother. At that time, Sevano even showed evidence that the bodyguard had found him, but it turned out that Ramona's mother was actually taken hostage. Sevano argued that it was just a way to test Ramona's loyalty to Nick.

But now, the situation has changed drastically. Sevano, who usually looks calm and calculating, actually looks confused and cornered. Nick couldn't believe Sevano could lose control like this. Something was wrong, but he was too angry to analyze further.

Nick gritted his teeth, his emotions running high. "Only you know the whereabouts of Ramona's mother! Don't try to lie to me, Sevano!" he shouted.

Sevano replied with an equally loud shout, "I'm not lying, Nick! You asked me to take it off yesterday and I did it right away."

There was silence for a moment, only the heavy breathing of the two of them racing each other with anger. Nick finally took a deep breath, trying to control his emotions. However, in his heart, he swore that he would seek this truth to the utmost, even if he had to destroy Sevano to do so.

"Instead of suspecting Hunter you are accusing me," Sevano said making Nick drop his grip and put away his gun.

Nick with a sharp look immediately said, "Ramona never told Hunter about her mother's whereabouts. Instead, he goes to great lengths to hide it from Hunter for his mother's safety. Because Aunt Belinda is also after her." Nick's circus roughly.

Sevano smiled obliquely at Nick's words, "And you believe what he said?" Nick squinted his eyes sarcastically.

Sevano came over and grabbed Nick's shoulders and said, "Don't be blind to his fake love. You're just being manipulated. He's just taking advantage of you. He's trying to get something out of you. He is on the same side with Hunter. Don't regret it if you break down later." Nick immediately dismissed Sevano's hand.

"I don't care, I just trust Ramona. If I find out the truth if you're behind the disappearance of Ramona's mother..........we'll just break this friendship," Nick immediately walked away from Sevano's room.

Sevano stared intently at Nick's departure with both clenched fists tightly.

"Ramona, I'm really going to destroy you myself!" Sevano muttered in a grudge at Ramona as her friendship with Nick became at odds over her.
