When Lady Winston saw that he was not making threats, she ran after him "Philip stop, you are not going anywhere, she willingly chose to leave you, don't you see that she does not love you". Philip pushed her away and glared at Amelia when she tried to come close "how can I be sure you two did not kill her and stuff her body somewhere like your daughter tried to".

Amelia looked at him with hurt filled eyes "although I would have been delighted to do that, we didn't Philip, plus why are you willing to throw your family and everything away for a lowly servant girl who is your half-sister" Amelia screamed, in a burst of anger, Philip shouted "because she is pregnant, with my child".

The look of horror on their faces said it all. "You have not only committed incest, now you have committed a greater abomination, you have doomed yourself Philip, why" Lady Winston cried out flinging herself to the floor. The look on the face of guests were one of pure malice, there had a juice gossip for the town, the Winston's were even more disgusting than everyone thought. Philip kept packing and when the guards he summoned came in he barked "look for Mary, search every corner, enlist the help of the king guards, find her she could not have gotten far". The men nodded and rushed out to carry out their orders the confusion in the chamber was evident, no one had seen Philip in this mood, so angry, letting no one come close to him. As he was about to walk out of the room, Lady Winston grabbed him

"Philip my but please don't leave, please don't leave your mother alone", he pushed her hands off "you should have thought about that before doing all you did". She cried uncontrollably, "you don't need to leave Philip, you do not need to". Turning to face her, he looked her down "are you deaf mother, I just said I am going to find her or I am leaving this house for good "there is no need to" she screamed "she is not your half sister".

The shock at her words made Philip stop in his tracks, "what are you talking about mother", at this point the whispers In the room were loud and Lady Winston was crying uncontrollably. "it was hard Philip, having a husband that never loved you but preferred the company of other women, I gave him my all, I was a good wife but it was never enough, and your father, he was your fathers right hand man, he gave me what I needed as a woman, he saw me for me, loved me, and we birthed you". Her tears ran freely "I am sorry I lied to you these years but how was I supposed to tell you the truth, there was no way I could". Philip was in shock, all his life he had felt so different and now he understood why, he felt used, felt stupid and in pain, he needed to leave here, he needed space.
