Hiking alone through Alaska's snow plains was meant to be Anna's test journey to escape the city's noise, but it spiraled out of control due to a sudden geomagnetic storm—GPS blackout, compass malfunction, and blinding snowstorms trapped her in a white purgatory without a horizon, where even direction became a luxury. In her moment of desperation, a dilapidated cabin half-buried in snow unexpectedly appeared, becoming her temporary shelter. A yellowed notebook, a wooden doll carved with a name, and strange scratches on the inside of the door quietly revealed the unknown past of this land. When she followed the mark of "Noatak" on the map in search of life, she heard mysterious bell sounds in the blizzard and encountered indigenous tribes performing rituals. "You shouldn't go there." The warning from the elder Atami cut like the bitter wind, but the "echo" of the Noatak had already ensnared her—the blurry, elongated shadow outside her tent, the calls both familiar and strange, even the illusion of her mother bringing hot soup, all tempting her away from the path to survival. The mysterious amulet handed to her by Sima became her only barrier against the hallucinations. Was it the extreme polar cold creating delusions, or were the memories sealed in this land "awakening"? Anna clutched the amulet, struggling forward on the edge between reality and illusion. She had to cross the frozen river to reach the rendezvous point, but the whispers of the Noatak still echoed in her ears: stay with us, be with us...
