I rolled my eyes and turn, "What do you want?" Why ignore me the whole time I am here just so you could come up to me anyways.
"I'm ready to leave." He states. His green eyes looked beautiful with the lights shining in it. His blond hair well done.
"So?" I stressed. What the hell does that have to do with me?
"Brandon and Iris are gone, and they asked me to give you a drive home."
"What!" I yelled.
This was their plan all along. To get me and Seth to talk. How didn't I pick up on this before?
"I said I'm going to drive you home since Iris and Brandon are gone." He repeated, his green eyes staring at me.
"I heard what you said." I barked.
"So, can we go?" he asked calmly. I looked at him, his face not showing any emotions, so I rolled my eyes. I didn't have a choice, I didn't know anyone here and I deleted the Uber from my phone.
I ignored his question and pushed past him. There was no way I'm going to act as I forgive him for ignoring me the whole night. I stand by a window and the pool while he spoke to persons, interact with people, leaving me all by myself.
I'm going to kill Iris for this!
Bringing me to this party and leaving me with Seth after I told I wanted to stay as far away from him as possible. I should have known she wouldn't listen, she never listens to anyone which made me even angrier.
I stand still waiting for him at the front, I didn't see his car anywhere.
He walked past me without saying a word. He pressed the key and a red Porsche lid up. He walked over to the driver's seat and open the door, he turns to me. "Are you coming?"
I nod my head and quickly walked over to the red car. I opened the passenger door then took a seat. "Where's your Honda?"
"At home." He started the engine and the started to make noise.
"Whose car is this?" I couldn't help myself. I had to ask.
"Mine." He answered. I looked over at him to ask so many questions, but they wouldn't come out, but they still lingered in my mind.
How the hell does a DA afford a Porsche? The man worked for the government. I worked for a great law firm and I still couldn't afford a Porsche, at least not yet.
...
The rest of the drive to my apartment was complete awkward silence. He didn't even try to build a conversation with me and I didn't think it was my place to start one either.
I turned in the parking lot of my building and parked in an empty space.
"Why are you parking?" I turn to look over at him.
"I want my shoes back." He answered.
I sigh, "Fine but you have to come for it. There is no way I'm making two trips up." I can't believe he was fussing over a slipper.
He took off his seatbelt and opened his door. "Fine."
I rolled my eyes and open my door too. I took off the seatbelt and came out of the car. I shut the door behind me. After shutting his door Seth started walking to the entrance of my building. I allowed him to walk ahead of me, anyway he took it, he would have to wait until I opened the door.
I took the scanner out of my purse and scan us in the building. I walked ahead of him until we reached the turn for the elevator. The elevator door opened, and we entered. I press the number of my floor and the door locked.
"Why are you angry with me?" I need to know why he was giving me the cold shoulders. I didn't do a thing wrong.
"I'm not angry at you." he denied.
I rolled my eyes. "You are."
"I'm not." I reminded silent. He wasn't going to accept my decision and move on.
When the elevator door opened, I walked out, Seth not far behind me. My key was already in my hands, so I just pushed it in the lock and turned it.
I push open the door to let Seth go in. When he entered Rojo jumped up against his feet, wagging her tail. I smile at her then enter my apartment. "There must be something about you."
Seth bent and pick up Rojo placing her against his chest. "What do you mean?"
"She doesn't normally like men." I moved away from the door and close it. The puppies start running towards us giving small barks.
"Wow, that's a lot of them." Seth says as he looks at the puppies. Each of them had a different colour string around it's neck. Seth bent down on his knees, he places Rojo on the ground and starts playing with the puppies.
"I know. I'm going to give them away, but I need persons to give them to." I look down at my dogs who seem to have taken a liking to Seth. Maybe it was because they didn't see other humans regularly they just jump on the first they see.
Or maybe it was his charm that everyone and everything found attractive.
"I can take one." My head went to Seth who was slowly getting back on his feet.
"Don't you have a cat already?"
"Yea but I can afford to have two animals. I actually did have a dog, Mas. He died four months ago. Butter wouldn't mind the company." He brushed off his pants then look up at me. "I promise I'll take good care of him or her."
